Personal statement
A Senior biomedical/ Electronic engineer with seven years of experience in nearly all fields and departments of the
hospital and biomedical engineering from medical imaging to laboratory, Endoscopy, OR, CSSD and little work in the
other fields.
Experience include service and calibration of equipment, studying of tenders and specifications to purchase
equipment, acceptance and testing of equipment spare parts and consumables from suppliers, training staff on
equipment, planning, construct AUTOCAD drawings and performing installations of large equipment such as CT
scanners.
Recent achievements with my current position include key role in establishment of the electronic maintenance
department including the maintenance electronic documentation system.
Key Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, English and Arabic.
Very good experience with engineering PC programmes, such as: AUTOCAD, ANSYS, LABVIEW.

Achievements and responsibilities:
Contribution in establishment of the electronic maintenance department including establishment of the
electronic maintenance documentation system and development of preventive maintenance procedures and
programmes, planning and purchasing equipment needed in the department.
Conducting component level service and maintenance to equipment in the society that contributed in savings
of about more than 30% of the cost of the service by equipment suppliers and the cost of purchasing new
parts and equipment.
Following up with equipment suppliers when they are doing service to equipment or supplying parts or

Joining a committee along with other colleagues from other departments in the society to scrap old and

Achievements and responsibilities:
Spent 6 months of rotation on all of the 9 workgroups of the biomedical specialisations, doing field visits with
the workgroups, this enabled me to get a very good understanding about all of the fields and departments of
the hospital, healthcare environment and biomedical engineering.
Studied bids and specifications submitted by different suppliers for tenders for medical Laboratory equipment
to be purchased by the ministry of health.
Annual preparing for needs of spare parts and consumables for equipment in MOH and going on with studying
offers from companies and issuing POs, to following up and acceptance of the parts from the suppliers, and
this allowed to get better prices from suppliers than doing the process on an on-need basis, and of course
saved time.
