 16 questions, each having two parts. Each part carries 10 points so each
question is worth 20 points.
 The final 4 questions comprise a list-it, also worth 10 points each.
 The question you see on screen is the first part.
 The second part is always a film. The film will be related to the answer of
the first part.
 There are part points for every question. You can get either part correct for
10 points, or both correct for 20.
 You CAN part pounce.
 Premature ejaculation is permitted, but only if the pounce is withdrawn

15. Tanaji Malusare was a Maratha military leader in Shivaji’s army. He was tasked to re-
capture Singhad but when he reached the fort, it was a cold, clear and moonless night.
Legend has it that he tied a rope to Shivaji’s pet monitor lizard (ghorpad) and let it
scale the fort, which it did successfully. Tanaji was able to take the fort from inside with
the help of his men.
Inspired by Tanaji, Colonel Joe Moore used a similar tactic to sneak into The X. The
plan was that the crew on-ground would start a war, aided by a surprise attack from
Col Moore from above. Although the plan seemed to fail initially and the main tower
started to burn, Moore escaped and was deified, considered immortal for surviving the
battle.

covered with green baize (although this could not be seen in the black and white film)
to reinforce the actors’ impression that they are playing ‘_____ for the fate of the
world.’
Although the production team sought help from the Pentagon for research, they
refused. The set designers made an educated guess to design the B-52 cockpit, which
was off limits to the film crew. The US Air Force personnel were blown away with the
intricate detail with which it was designed.

remarks that it is impossible for their relationship to exist and advises him
to distance himself from her memory, hoping to be reunited in death.

impressive that X was allowed to direct the second video on his own. He
took a handheld camera, shot multiple takes to play around with the
scene, and the final cut is in the film itself.
In the scene, X interrogates an impostor, trying to elicit a reason for his
actions. The impostor clearly shows signs of torture and it attacked off-
camera at the end of the video.

51. This short story by X features a 48-year old man who dies in a traffic collision and
meets God. The man is told that he will now be reincarnated as a Chinese peasant girl
in 540AD. God explains that the man will be reincarnated across time constantly, and
all humans that have ever lived and ever will live are incarnations of him. God futher
explains that once he has lived all humans, he will be reincarnated as God.
Published on X’s website, the story has been translated in over 30 languages and has
been made into a short film, a number of online videos and a play as well. The story
went viral upon release and is widely considered one of X’s two best works, and one of
the best modern short stories of all time.

54. X auditioned for the new iconic part in this movie and didn’t get it. He was summoned
later and shot the part in 12 days. However, X insisted not to be a part of the movie’s
promotions and refused to be credited. Although X was an unknown actor at the time,
he had done a bunch of movies recently, and if any of them became a hit, his profile
would be different. X said, “If I'm the third-billed actor in a movie where the top two
billings are trying to find somebody and they don't find that somebody until the last
reel, then it's obvious who that somebody is.”
Although he faced stiff opposition from the producers, he got his way by threatening
to not shoot his parts at all, thus playing a major part in the movie’s development.
