After the migration of Muslims to Madina, they felt the need
to find a way to inform people to come to prayer.
One day, the Blessed Prophet asked the Muslims about a
way to call all everyone to salah five times a day.
"We could use a horn," some suggested.
"What about using a bell to call Muslims," suggested others.
But the Prophet PBUH didn't like those ideas.

The next morning while the Prophet was sitting in the masjid
with his friends, A man called Abdullah ibn Zaid walked in,
"Last night I saw a dream, a beautiful dream.
"I saw in my dream, a man,
He said, "Let me teach you something better than a bell”
I said; 'Please do, May Allah bless you!’
He said, 'You say loudly:

What is adhaan?
The adhaan is the call to Salah.
When we hear the adhaan, we
know the time for Salah has set in.
The first mu’adhdhin in Islam was
Bilal Bin Rabah.

Anyone who hears the adhaan should
repeat the same, sentence by sentence,
After the Mu’adhdhin has recited them,
but when the Mu’adhdhin says the words:

‫الفالح‬ ‫على‬ ‫حي‬ ‫الفالح‬ ‫على‬ ‫حي‬
