Activity Brief 29-30April (Class Activity)
Today we will begin by investigating examples of existing Professional Learning
Networks (PLNs) depicted in a variety of ways. You may also find many similar
examples by simply using Google but a more refined search will surely give you much
better and innovative representations. We will start the session by looking at examples
at: http://www.edtechpost.ca/ple_diagrams/index.php/
Your task for this week:
• Create your own artifact (using any technology at your disposal) to represent
your own PLN as it currently stands (Your PLN is the network you have been
building throughout this semester thus far. If you have not yet joined a number of
teaching repositories or online services NOW IS THE TIME TO DO SO!) Those
of you who already have a presence online and are actively building their
networks can simply share the PLN with us in visual format.
• It is a good idea to do this task well as an expanded version of this artifact will be
part of your portfolio submission at the end of the semester.
