This document provides information about English language training courses for teachers offered by English Matters, S.L. The courses called "Activate your English for Teaching" are aimed at teachers with B1+ and B2 level English located in Ireland at Trinity College Dublin and the Institute of Public Administration in Dublin or in Leeds, England. The 10-day courses offer English language classes, workshops, cultural activities and visits to improve participants' communicative competence. The objectives are to help teachers develop their English skills, especially oral fluency, vocabulary and pronunciation, to teach parts of the curriculum in English and participate in further education opportunities. Certificates of attendance are awarded upon completion.

DESCRIPCION OF TRAINING
Description:
These courses offer a mix of English-focus classes, workshops, visits to places of historic and archaeological
interest, and socio-cultural activities. It has been designed to help teachers with B1+ and B2 level (course Activate
your English for Teaching) to develop their communicative competence in English in order to enable them to interact
with their students in class and in everyday situations.
Objectives:
 To help teachers to develop their skills (specially their oral fluency, vocabulary and pronunciation) and
improve their use of English as a means of communication in class and in everyday situations.
 To help teachers to improve their English in order to be able to teach part of the curriculum through the
means of English and participate in further Erasmus+ courses and/or partnerships.
TYPE OF CERTIFICATION OF ATTENDANCE AWARDED
Europass and Certificate of attendance with description of training content and time input.
