This document presents data on uninsurance rates by state for all people in the United States according to the American Community Survey (ACS) from 2010 and 2011. It shows the uninsurance rate for each state in 2010 and 2011 and the difference between the two years. Some states had statistically significant decreases in uninsurance rates between 2010 and 2011 including California, Colorado, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Wisconsin, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Oregon and Illinois.
