3. INTRODUCTION
• The aluminum composite panel ACP
was originally introduced as a joint
invented between companies known
as Alusine and BASF in 1964. Later
Alusuisse bought Alusine , which was
eventually obtained by another
international firm named Alcan
(currently Rio Tinto) in 2000.
• in the year 2004, Astone has emerged
as one of the
foremost manufacturers of stylish and
high utility aluminum composite
panels in India.
4. ALLUMINIUM COMPOSITE PANELS
Aluminum composite panel [ACP]
is generally term for panels
constructed from two sheets of
aluminum bonded to a core.
It's also known as sandwich panel.
It is a structure made up of three
layers.
Low density core inserted in
between two relatively thin skin
layers.
5. Aluminum composite
panels are two aluminum
sheets with thermoplastic
core made of polyethylene
which holds them
together. Because of its
structure ACP are perfect
for exterior cladding
system.

7. USES OF ACP
1. ACP's are a great durable material for creative
solution.
2. ACP are very light compare to composite
material.
3. ACP have a very low cost of maintenance
4. ACP is very cost effective.
5. ACP come in wide variety of colors , shapes
and sizes.
6. ACP are highly functional.
7. Non –combustible material for construction.
9. APPLICATION
Exterior : façade , canopy , overhang ,soffit, and
many more.
Interior: wall covering , false ceiling , cupboards
,wardrobes , modular kitchens , table tops ,
column covers and more.
10. SIZE, THIKNESS AND COST
SIZE
• There are several standard size
sheets that ACP is supplied in :
• 1220 x 2440mm
• 1220 x 3660mm
• 1500 x 3660mm
• 2000 x 4000mm
THIKNESS
• The standard thickness of ACP is:
• 3mm
• 4mm
• 6mm

Rs. 55 / square ft. Rs. 120 / square ft. Rs. 340 / square ft.
11. INSTALLATION
• The installation of aluminum composite panel
should be firm and reliable. The clearance
between two aluminum composite panel shall be
handled internally to make it flat and bare. Cover
the part which prone to contamination with
plastic film or other material after finishing the
installation.
