WHY DOES IT RESONATE FOR
YOU?
First of all, as a student myself, I understand that the education is
one of the most important way to gain knowledge.
Secondly, basic education is one of the most important fundamental
rights for almost everyone, therefore it should be ensured. Also, with
this fundamental education, it is promising to have a better future.
On the other hand, there are many other countries that people,
mostly the children, would not have the chance to have education.
Last but not least, in order to acquire a decent job, requirements of
educational background is necessary, and thus, ensure that
everyone can have education is very important and necessary.
HOW CAN YOUR INTEREST BE
APPLIED LOCALLY?
I can do a survey on how is the local educational rate, so
that I can understand a bigger scale of the society with this
particular subject of matter.
Next is to write a letter regarding the educational issues,
and send it to the local schools to understand if there is
anything that the local schools can help those children
who cannot afford the basic education.
Not just the schools, but also interact with the local
government to better understanding the situation locally.
And thus better assist those children who do not have the
access to education.
WHERE CAN YOU MAKE THE
GREATEST CONTRIBUTION?
The very first thing that I can do is to volunteer to be a
lecturer for elementary school children. To better understand
how I can teach them a lesson besides the text book.
During the learning process, I want to focus on how to inspire
the children and motivate them to pursuit knowledge,
education.
Next thing is to participate in none profit program that help
children who cannot have the chance to get education.
Also, I want to call for charity activities, so that we are able to
donate some books, and other supplies for children who don’t
have educational promises.
IS THERE A FEATURE OF SOCIAL
MEDIA THAT CAN BE UNIQUELY
APPLIED TO THIS GOAL?
As a matter of fact, technologies such as social media interaction
tools can be applied to achieve universal primary education.
Facebook, Twitter, and etc. have tons of users all over the world. The
users of these social interaction tools can be ordinary people,
celebrities, and rich people.
Therefore, if we call for charity activities on these tools, we can easily
have our voice heard by the world, and would be easier for us to get
help for the children.
Other than that, there is no such software system that mainly focus
on educational purpose.
