This document presents research on the acceptance of online book stores in Nepal. The research aims to analyze the Nepalese market for online bookstores and determine whether they would be accepted. It studies how factors like price, internet usage, book availability, and time limitations may impact acceptability. The methodology section outlines a survey of students and non-students to collect data on their book purchasing behaviors and opinions of online options. Preliminary findings suggest Nepalis are optimistic about online businesses but major factors in purchasing books online are convenience from fast delivery and access to unavailable titles, rather than lower prices. The research recommends promoting online businesses and payment systems in Nepal and further exploration of opportunities.
