This document describes using dynamic scaffolding with WP-CLI to accelerate custom WordPress development. It presents a solution of building a plugin called Produce that extends WP-CLI commands to inject code into a starter theme called Crate. The Produce plugin contains subdirectories for commands, ACF field groups, includes, templates and more. Running WP-CLI commands copies these files to the theme. This allows automating repetitive tasks like creating post types and taxonomies to speed up development while avoiding copying and pasting code.
