This document describes an embedded industrial automation project. The project aims to automate load control in industries to prevent power wastage, accidents, and overloading during peak demand times. It uses a single PIC16F8XX microcontroller chip to automate tripping loads during voltage fluctuations, switching non-critical loads off during peak demand, power factor correction, and controlling illumination, water, and temperature levels. The microcontroller also implements code locks and scheduled load operation for safety. Door open/close sensors can automatically switch lighting loads on/off in storage areas. The key features of the microcontroller that enable this project are its flash memory, brown out reset, I/O port expansion, and temperature tolerance suitable for industrial environments
