Emily is a 15-year-old girl from Raymond, WA who experienced several health issues and panic attacks throughout middle school including a blocked kidney at age 11, multiple visits to the emergency room, and panic attacks during classes that caused her to cry. She had her worst time during her 8th grade year but was eventually able to feel normal again and enjoyed her freshman year of high school by joining the soccer team, though she remains nervous about the future.
