Why ABC
Mexico?
Mexican producers of sustainable goods and profession-
als involved in green economy have big potential to ex-
port their products and services to Europe. However, the
challenge facing them is how to create demand of their
products and services. The existing resources, mainly
governmental, do provide information, guide and sup-
port for businesses at a general level but do not address
the specific opportunities businesses have in deter-
mined markets abroad. Additionally, these resources do
not promote bilateral consumer-producer search neither
is the flow of information and image (user experience)
strong enough.
Technological developments have, instead, become a
key resource for international sustainable trade. Com-
munication technologies, for example, give Mexican en-
trepreneurs a huge opportunity to offer their products
and services globally and grow their businesses. Pro-
ducers and providers need to show their differentiations,
innovations and potential in a more dynamic and profes-
sional way.
Moreover, online contact is crucial for international trade
and Mexican entrepreneurs need support on how to in-
troduce themselves in online environments. For that
reason, the success in finding the opportunities to sell
sustainable products into emerging markets relies on a
good communication strategy and a professional net-
work.
ABC Mexico aims to help sustainable Mexican business-
es introduce themselves abroad within a profession-
al framework. It is also aimed at meeting customers´
needs dynamically by helping them find which products
or services to export or import. ABC Mexico makes use
of all the possibilities internet technology offers effec-
tively in order to get exposure for Mexican sustainable
products or services. ABC also makes use of an “Omni
channel platform” to present businesses abroad (online
community, data accss and multiple-device output.)

ABC Mexico is a concept by:
Eduardo Pérez, Ignacio Carmona and Francisco Martinez.
ABC Mexico B.V. is in process of registration and will be open for Investors.

ProMexico. Its goal is to promote the attraction of direct foreign
investment, the export of goods and services and bring Mexican
companies to an international level. This contributes to Mexico´s
economic and social development as it strengthens the country´s
image as a strategic business partner.
ASERCA. (Agency of Marketing Services and Agricultural Market
Development). Its supports agricultural marketing and drive through
incentives for producers; promotes market mechanisms and designs
schemes of negotiation between producers and buyers; generating
and publishing market information, also identifying and promoting
exports.
SNICS. (National Service of Seed Inspection and Certification).
Its goal is to establish and keep updated the system to regulate
and promote seed, plant varieties and genetic resources
matters, collaborating to increase agricultural production and its
competitiveness, according to international standards.
FONAES. It promotes and implements public policies and
programs oriented to create more and better jobs, companies and
entrepreneurs in Mexico.
The Chambers of Commerce in Mexico and in The Netherlands.
SINAREFI
National System of Plant Genetic Resources for Agriculture and
Food. Institution that promotes the participation of different actors
(researchers, farmers, students, civil society, etc.) in the conservation
and the sustainable use of native plants. SINAREFI is able to promote
the participation of producers organized in 46 networks (i.e. agaves,
vanilla, cactus, corn, amaranth, exotic fruits, etc.) in ABC Mexico.
Impulso Orgánico
(Organic Impulse) 75 small and medium companies with organic
certifications.
COMEXPORTA
Producer organization integrated by 11 small and medium size
companies.
Mexican Talent Network
Organization that promotes the participation of Mexicans specialized
people living abroad in projects or initiatives related to Mexico (34
organizations around the world, including in the Netherlands).
Mexican Consulting Group Wageningen
Group or Mexican alumnae from Wageningen University offering
consultancy services for the elaboration or development of projects
in Mexico.
Minor Latin American Business Studies
Study program at the HAN University of Applies Sciences involved
in the elaboration of business plans and marketing analysis for
companies interested in the European or Latin American Market
(focus in Mexican companies and in the Mexican market).

Pro- ducers and providers need to show their differentiations, innovations and potential in a more dynamic and profes- sional way. Moreover, online contact is crucial for international trade and Mexican entrepreneurs need support on how to in- troduce themselves in online environments. For that reason, the success in finding the opportunities to sell sustainable products into emerging markets relies on a good communication strategy and a professional net- work. ABC Mexico aims to help sustainable Mexican business- es introduce themselves abroad within a profession- al framework. It is also aimed at meeting customers´ needs dynamically by helping them find which products or services to export or import.
