Romans 8:12-17
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—
not to the flesh, to live according to the

flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you
put to death the deeds of the body, you

““Abba” is Aramaic, comparable to our
word “daddy,” and is more endearing
than “father” (Greek, “pater”). If one of
my children were to introduce me to
another, he or she would say, “This is
Jimmy Allen, my father.”

would be called dad, daddy or pop. The
point is that father is a bit more formal
than dad.”

What Makes God a Good Father?
• He is always present
