Presentation by Deborah S. Golden-Gestner, GPC regarding NEW REVENUE OPTIONS for GRANT PROFESSIONALS who are looking for capital, programming & operational grant dollars. Powerpoint presentation.
As a follow up to our 2/26/14 webinar, Social Impact Bonds 101, Robert Esposito and Shawn Pelsinger, two NYU Law and Social Enterprise Fellows, joined us to expand upon our original discussion with a deeper look into the growth of SIB's in the Unites States and the implications for the philanthropic sector. Our two experts took us through a number of recent developments around SIB's in the U.S., including the fate of guarantors, the growth of multiple-funding sources, the expanding position of investment banks for financing and the ultimate role of foundations and philanthropy. This was the second webinar in a four-part series with Public Allies.
Leveraging Opportunity Zones to Support Regional Economic Developmentnado-web
During the 2019 NADO Annual Training Conference (October 19 - 22 in Reno, NV), Scott Dadson shared information creating investable communities and how to take advantage of the Opportunity Zone Program.
In this economic climate, there is a necessity to work collaboratively to create strong, sustainable and inclusive communities. Detailed comprehensive plans and federal funding grants need some of the same elements to thrive. If a community identifies its needs as part of the planning process, it can, as part of a continuous proposal building process, pinpoint which grants will help meet those needs.

The Social Enterprise Alliance North Texas Chapter convened entrepreneurs, nonprofit executives and social enterprise practitioners in June to learn about new legal and tax structures for social enterprise organizations. New hybrid organizations are adopting emerging social enterprise models, employing innovative strategies, and creating business alliances to drive positive social change. This interactive presentation helped nonprofit leaders and social entrepreneurs understand a myriad of legal, tax, and governance challenges in the Fourth Sector and learn ways to overcome them by using business efficiencies to achieve nonprofit goals. Marc Lane, a national-recognized expert on social enterprise law, led the discussion and offered his practical advice and answered questions about these issues and others:
The L3C business model and how social enterprises are already benefiting
Relieving legal tension between financial and social objectives
Understanding social enterprise legal issues
· Reducing the risks and financial burden of earned-income social ventures
· Leveraging foundations' "program-related investments" to attract private-sector capital for earned-income ventures
Converting nonprofit funders into social venture capitalists
Noted national author, attorney and entrepreneur/social entrepreneur and L3C guru discusses key issues to keep in mind when deciding whether to be a for-profit or a not-for-profit organization. He also discusses the lasted events in the growing L3C movement for the social sector.
In this webinar we cover basic principles to address diversity equity and inclusion, developing community wealth, strategies to build collaboration, and building local businesses and economies.

Mobilizing Capital for Public Good: Presentation to MMAHSocial Finance

The Federal Corrupt Practices Act (“FCPA”) prohibits a U.S. company or person from bribing foreign government officials to obtain a business advantage. Along with this seemingly simple restriction comes accounting and record keeping requirements with which companies must comply. The FCPA requires the implementation of a compliance program which addresses FCPA concerns and establishes an FCPA corporate policy. This webinar covers the basics of the FCPA, including an introduction to the regulators, both the SEC and DOJ, and recent communications to the public regarding the FCPA from these regulatory bodies. The standards for a compliance program review is analyzed, including what makes a program current and effective as well as how often the program requires review. The role of a compliance coordinator is discussed, as is record keeping, training, and retaliation. Finally, meals and entertainment, gifts, travel, charitable contributions, and hiring are all discussed with reference to recent government actions and legal decisions.

Impact Investing Grad School Final PresentationRobert Williams
This presentation was my grad school final which focused on social impact investments in the nonprofit sector. This presentation was meant to serve as a "impact investment for dummies" in order to introduce the topic to those who may be unfamiliar with the intricacies behind impact investing- including myself. Social impact investing is the practice of providing financial opportunities to social causes and to the organizations who address these issues. Social impact investments are treated as loans in which nonprofit organizations are typically required to pay back at low or no interest rates and can also be a tool for individual investors to fund causes and can seek a return on their investment. There are various forms of impact investing tools including program related investments (PRI), mission related investments (MRI), social impact bonds, social impact guarantees, outcome-based contracting, and impact evaluations; all with their own unique qualities and legal classifications. This research explores the practice of social impact investing, how individuals are investing, the organizations who grant these types of investments, the impact and future of the nonprofit sector through these investments, and the rise of social impact investing practices. This research is also meant to shed light on which organizations are most attractive and eligible for social impact investments, the best practices for applying and maintaining these investments, while providing legal and strategic recommendations in the practice of investing for social impact.
how to sell pi coins on Bitmart crypto exchangeDOT TECH
Yes. Pi network coins can be exchanged but not on bitmart exchange. Because pi network is still in the enclosed mainnet. The only way pioneers are able to trade pi coins is by reselling the pi coins to pi verified merchants.
A verified merchant is someone who buys pi network coins and resell it to exchanges looking forward to hold till mainnet launch.
I will leave the telegram contact of my personal pi merchant to trade with.

Falcon stands out as a top-tier P2P Invoice Discounting platform in India, bridging esteemed blue-chip companies and eager investors. Our goal is to transform the investment landscape in India by establishing a comprehensive destination for borrowers and investors with diverse profiles and needs, all while minimizing risk. What sets Falcon apart is the elimination of intermediaries such as commercial banks and depository institutions, allowing investors to enjoy higher yields.
Even tho Pi network is not listed on any exchange yet.
Buying/Selling or investing in pi network coins is highly possible through the help of vendors. You can buy from vendors[ buy directly from the pi network miners and resell it]. I will leave the telegram contact of my personal vendor.

What website can I sell pi coins securely.DOT TECH
Currently there are no website or exchange that allow buying or selling of pi coins..
But you can still easily sell pi coins, by reselling it to exchanges/crypto whales interested in holding thousands of pi coins before the mainnet launch.
Who is a pi merchant?
A pi merchant is someone who buys pi coins from miners and resell to these crypto whales and holders of pi..
This is because pi network is not doing any pre-sale. The only way exchanges can get pi is by buying from miners and pi merchants stands in between the miners and the exchanges.
How can I sell my pi coins?
Selling pi coins is really easy, but first you need to migrate to mainnet wallet before you can do that. I will leave the telegram contact of my personal pi merchant to trade with.
Tele-gram.
@Pi_vendor_247
Yes of course, you can easily start mining pi network coin today and sell to legit pi vendors in the United States.

what is the future of Pi Network currency.DOT TECH
The future of the Pi cryptocurrency is uncertain, and its success will depend on several factors. Pi is a relatively new cryptocurrency that aims to be user-friendly and accessible to a wide audience. Here are a few key considerations for its future:
Message: @Pi_vendor_247 on telegram if u want to sell PI COINS.
1. Mainnet Launch: As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, Pi was still in the testnet phase. Its success will depend on a successful transition to a mainnet, where actual transactions can take place.
2. User Adoption: Pi's success will be closely tied to user adoption. The more users who join the network and actively participate, the stronger the ecosystem can become.
3. Utility and Use Cases: For a cryptocurrency to thrive, it must offer utility and practical use cases. The Pi team has talked about various applications, including peer-to-peer transactions, smart contracts, and more. The development and implementation of these features will be essential.
4. Regulatory Environment: The regulatory environment for cryptocurrencies is evolving globally. How Pi navigates and complies with regulations in various jurisdictions will significantly impact its future.
5. Technology Development: The Pi network must continue to develop and improve its technology, security, and scalability to compete with established cryptocurrencies.
6. Community Engagement: The Pi community plays a critical role in its future. Engaged users can help build trust and grow the network.
7. Monetization and Sustainability: The Pi team's monetization strategy, such as fees, partnerships, or other revenue sources, will affect its long-term sustainability.
It's essential to approach Pi or any new cryptocurrency with caution and conduct due diligence. Cryptocurrency investments involve risks, and potential rewards can be uncertain. The success and future of Pi will depend on the collective efforts of its team, community, and the broader cryptocurrency market dynamics. It's advisable to stay updated on Pi's development and follow any updates from the official Pi Network website or announcements from the team.
USDA Loans in California: A Comprehensive Overview.pptxmarketing367770
USDA Loans in California: A Comprehensive Overview
If you're dreaming of owning a home in California's rural or suburban areas, a USDA loan might be the perfect solution. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) offers these loans to help low-to-moderate-income individuals and families achieve homeownership.
Key Features of USDA Loans:
Zero Down Payment: USDA loans require no down payment, making homeownership more accessible.
Competitive Interest Rates: These loans often come with lower interest rates compared to conventional loans.
Flexible Credit Requirements: USDA loans have more lenient credit score requirements, helping those with less-than-perfect credit.
Guaranteed Loan Program: The USDA guarantees a portion of the loan, reducing risk for lenders and expanding borrowing options.
Eligibility Criteria:
Location: The property must be located in a USDA-designated rural or suburban area. Many areas in California qualify.
Income Limits: Applicants must meet income guidelines, which vary by region and household size.
Primary Residence: The home must be used as the borrower's primary residence.
Application Process:
Find a USDA-Approved Lender: Not all lenders offer USDA loans, so it's essential to choose one approved by the USDA.
Pre-Qualification: Determine your eligibility and the amount you can borrow.
Property Search: Look for properties in eligible rural or suburban areas.
Loan Application: Submit your application, including financial and personal information.
Processing and Approval: The lender and USDA will review your application. If approved, you can proceed to closing.
USDA loans are an excellent option for those looking to buy a home in California's rural and suburban areas. With no down payment and flexible requirements, these loans make homeownership more attainable for many families. Explore your eligibility today and take the first step toward owning your dream home.

AAGP Broward Chapter Gestner Presentation July 2009 Final (2)
1. Revenue Replacement in 2009/2010 “The NEW GRANT OPTIONS” Deborah S. Golden-Gestner, GPC President & Partner Capital Philanthropy Group, LLC July 2009
2. American Association ofGrant Professionals Broward County Chapter – July 24,2009 - Conference AGENDA Introduction & Overview of Discussion points. Types of “GRANT FUNDS” that are NOT being tapped into by most non-profits and governmental organizations. Vendor Contracts & Special “PROGRAMS” available! What do you do FIRST to access funds? July 2009
3. Deborah S. Golden-Gestner, GPC President & Partner of Capital Philanthropy Group, LLC. Degree in Urban Planning & Economics. 27 years direct experience in obtaining grants. Served as City Manager to a Pittsburgh suburb. Served as a Director of Grants for Large non-profits in PA & FLA Drafted both State & Federal Appropriations involving Grants. Wrote current Florida Tax Program for non-profits involving Enterprise Zones & sales tax refunds. Drafted, secured or managed more than 1 billion dollars in state, federal & private grants for public & private clients since 1982. Founded consulting firm in 1993. INTRODUCTIONS July 2009
4. Overview of Discussion Points Capital Funds? Are YOU part of the process? Does each organization involve their GRANT PROFESSIONAL in the Capital Planning process for Projects? Why not! GRANT PROFESSIONALS should be part of the Capital Planning from the START of the visioning process and NOT reacting to “FUNDING” requests. GRANTS should be a budgeted annual revenue item and can be PLANNED for-specifically in regards to capital items – ie: EDA/HUD/108 July 2009
5. FUND raising vs “FUN”d raising – effort, volunteers, time, resources & capital investments are significant! I.e., golf tournaments. MORE emphasis should be placed on grants/grant department & resources needed – i.e., technology & staff can return initial investment within the same FISCAL YEAR. Can DEVELOPMENT vs GRANTS be effective & quick? EXAMPLES of funded capital projects – from New resources! New air conditioning system – Homeland Security New building for organizational offices – Dept of Commerce – EDA funds – up to $5m New building constructed from Tax Credits – Florida Enterprise Zone CCTIP program. $14m available annually. GRANTS vs DEVELOPMENT July 2009
6. Non-profits create MORE jobs annually than Fortune 500 American Companies(2007 July - Chronicle of Philanthropy) Non-profits, government organizations & Educational Institutions are classified as ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT projects! New EMPLOYMENT vs RETAINED EMPLOYMENT – don’t miss out. LEARN the new program buzz words. Relocation or New Construction can be all offset with local, state and national government grant dollars. Use your financial partnerships & affiliations to maximize your LEVERAGE to assist in matching dollars without exchanging dollars or changing your project’s mission. YOU are an ECONOMIC ENGINE! July 2009
7. UNDERSTAND what is OUT THERE in the way of NEW or ENHANCED FEDERAL FUNDS! HOW do YOU gain access to them? HOW do YOU FIND/QUALIFY & OBTAIN NEW SOURCES of REVENUES?
8. EXECUTIVE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET WASHINGTON, D.C. 20503 MEMORANDUM FOR THE HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES FROM: Peter R. Orszag ,Director SUBJECT: Initial Implementing Guidance for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 DATE: February 18, 2009 (SIGNED INTO LAW on the 17th of FEBRUARY) (2) Competition Although the Recovery Act calls on agencies to commence expenditures and activities as quickly as possible consistent with prudent management, this statement, by itself, does not constitute a sufficient justification to support award of a federal grant on a non-competitive basis. Agencies are expected to follow the same laws, principles, procedures, and practices in awarding discretionary grants with Recovery Act funds as they do with other funds. Agencies should review their internal policies with a goal towards promoting competition to the maximum extent practicable. In conducting this review, agencies may want to consider the appropriateness of limited competitions among existing high-performing projects versus full and open competitions and formula allocations. RULES for ARRA monies from OMB
