Tollywood Jakkana Rajamouli’s Bahubali is much talked about ever since it was launched in a grand
manner. The film’s star studded cast of Prabhas,Rana, Tamanna, Anushka captured the imagination of all
and the film’s high budget shocked many in the industry.
Even as the film’s shooting is progressing at brisk pace, speculation is on that the film is not Rajamouli’s
brain child but is a copy of yesteryear Tollywood hit Marmayogi featuring great actors NTR and MGR.
The story of Marmayogi is about King (Serukalathur Sama), whose mistress (Anjali Devi) usurps and cast
him adrift in a river. While the deposed king wanders in the country as a sage, his two sons Sahasra-
namam and NTR loses the power over the kingdom. How they regain their kingdom is the crux of the
story.
