The paper introduces a novel authentication technique using the traditional game 'snakes and ladders' to enhance the memorability and usability of passwords, addressing the common challenges of text-based authentication. It proposes a method where users select a sequence of grid cells on a game board as part of their password, allowing them to harness familiar game mechanics to improve recall. A user study indicated that this approach significantly aids in remembering lengthy passwords, demonstrating its potential as a practical authentication solution.
