The first teacher, who also happens to be my Subject Mentor, is a very experienced
staff member, he has known the students since they started the school in Year 7, and
hence he has a personal relationship with them. Because of this, he is able to joke

inch at a time. People were running out of gas and there were no gas stations open for
miles. My dad kept the air conditioning off to preserve the battery or gas, and it was
blazing hot out. I remember being drenched in sweat, wondering where we were
going to end up. When it came time for me to sleep, the car was so packed I had to
move in awkward positions to get comfortable and use cardboard boxes as pillows.
We could not afford to pull over for potty breaks so my parents had my sister and I
pee in a jar. Gross right? But that was all we could do. There was a countdown to
when the hurricane was coming and we had to get as far away as possible. Even
though we traveled for days, we only got as far as Woodsville which was only
about two hours from where I lived. A two hour trip had been stretched out to days
because of the traffic. We were notified to find shelter and we ended up in a high
school gym.
We were given two cots since there were four family members and we huddled our
way to the middle of the gym. There were a lot of people, all just as miserable
looking as we were. I was so exhausted that I fell asleep on the cot about five
minutes after arriving to our shelter. I slept so long and so deep, the hurricane
passed over our shelter and I missed it. When I woke up my mom told me about how

Along with being an advocate for civil rights, Martin Luther King Jr. was a skilled
writer and public speaker. He wrote many books and delivered a multitude of
speeches all over the country. In an excerpt from his book, Why We Can t Wait,
King uses a plethora of rhetorical strategies to move his audience, the people of
America. He specifically is reaching out to the African Americanpopulation in the
1960s to encourage them to take the necessary steps to gain freedom.

Boston Bus Training
We all had to be at the school by three in the morning. Everyone had to get their
luggage and marching uniform checked before going to the bus. After a photo shoot,
we all scrambled on to the bus. After the bus driver told us the rules, the bus started
up and began leaving the school.
Just about everyone slept the rest of the night until morning. Once we woke up, the
bus stopped. Bus drivers are required to stop the bus every four hours. We got off

They re a lot of people and traffic in Boston, and our bus took up half the road. Our
tour guide jumped on the bus and told what we re going to be seeing and asked us
questions. Finally, everyone ran off the bus and stretched out after making a stop.

During the first half of the 20th century, Photographs, songs, and cartoons tried to
interpret the problems of the time through different kinds of imagery and tone with
varying amounts of success, from praise and awe to disgust and rejection.
In the early 20th century, Americans were suffering from the Great Depressionand its
high unemployment rates, droughts and terrible living conditions, so when they first

Coffee that is not consumed in a short period of time is thrown out due to it tasting
burned. Coffee pot is not cleaned before a fresh pot of coffee is made. The price
paid for a cup of coffee is the same no matter what size of cup used. People do not
consistently pay their coffee dues. Pouring coffee from the pot to the cup creates a
messy area. People do not clean their mess. A new pot of coffee is not always
started after the last cup has been poured. Coffee that has been started too late in the
day is usually thrown out.
It is possible to solve all of these issues while maintaining the same coffee maker. But
the problems will recur. Addressing these recurring issues in the same manner is not
the solution. The solution is to change the method of coffee preparation.
Method Used

Two coffee makers are examined in this report, the current coffee maker used in
the office and the proposed replacement model. The current coffee maker is the Mr.
Coffee model FTX43, black and chrome 12 cup programmable coffee maker,
originally priced at $70.00 ( Drugstore.com, n.d.). The proposed replacement coffee
maker is the Keurig OfficePro Commercial Coffee Brewer, average price $130.00 (
Staples.com, n.d.). The coffee used in this report is the same brand for both
models. This will enable as fair a comparison as possible. The type of coffee used in
the comparison is Folgers Gourmet Selections Black

No one likes to be incarcerated in a six by eight foot room for twenty three hours of
the day. Rather than having the defendant plead guilty, many cases around the U.S.
have plea bargaining as a form of negotiation between the defendant, prosecutor, and
defense counsel on behalf of the interests involved (Schmalleger 2016). It has
quickened the judicial system by having cases no longer lead to trial and helps the
prosecutor and the defendant agree to a guilty plea if the prosecutor is unsure of a
win. Plea bargaining helps the courts run smoothly when they have a large amount of
