4. •Age of the consumer’s: Most of the consumer’s were within age of
35-50.
•Gender: Most of the people were generally women who were
generally working in offices and some were house wives.
•Demography of the consumer’s: Most of the consumers were local
except a few who were from other country.
5. Types of purchases made by the
consumers
• Most of the cosumer’s were looking for wholesale
products.
• They were also looking for items that they generally
consume, i,e; they were fixed in their brands.
• Consumer’s were not looking for experimenting with
new products who came into the market.
• Some consumer’s were buying on a day to day basis
and some in a weekly basis.
6. Types of vegetables and fruits bought by
the consumer:
•Most of the consumer’s bought tomato, as it is the most
common consumed vegetable in AP.
•Then the consumers were buying Brinjal, Ladies Finger
as the common vegetables.
•In case of fruits only one women bought a papaya.
•Most of the people were not buying imported fruits and
vegetables like red Cabbage, Chinese Cabbage, yellow
Capsicum, Broccoli, American Apple, etc to name a few.
7. 1st : Woman(30-35 approx), simply came to the stall and bought a Bottle Gourd.
2nd: Woman(above 40), bought Tomato of small sizes, Brinjal (local breed) and only six Bananas.
3rd: Woman(30-35), bought only Radish, Cucumber, Ladies Finger and Tomato.
4th: Woman(above 50), was very active and bought every vegetable by first weighing them and
bought Brinjal, Cucumber , Tomato and Radish.
5th: Woman(30-35), bought Cabbage, one Papaya, Green Capsicum and Banana.
6th: Woman(above 50), Ridge Gourd, Cucumber, Cabbage and Tomato.
7th: Two woman(above 50): only bought orange, observed other fruits but did not buy them.
8th: Boy(8-10) and Woman(30 approx), Broccoli, Corriender, Ladies Finger, Tomato and Carrot.
9th: One woman and an unmarried lady, Onion, Potato, Tomato, Ridge Gourd and Carrot.
10th: Woman(above 40), Bitter Gourd, Snake Gourd and Brinjal.
11. CONCLUSION
As observed by all our group members we
came to a conclusion that the average
age of the consumers was between 35-
40, of which most bought
tomato, cucumber and cabbage and we
also found that the consumer’s mostly
bought local and general items with ease
and without much problem.
