A Kind Heart Heals
_VJ Kuusinen
A destitute child, on the street, caught my eyes,
whose memories still moisten my eyes,
On a crippling cold night,
glimpse of a sunken soul,
A
languish child, on the dark corners, of the street,
or
A bereft orphan, lost, or shunned by his tribe?
Nearly, an invisible stature in dark,
Till shimmering lights from the vehicles,
would
sporadically, glare on his face,
featuring his lean, grieve stricken mien,
A lad pale, feeble and weak,
wrapped in shreds of linen,
barely enough to cover his body,
& his bare limbs,
Arms crossed, tightly held, covering his torso,!
Plenty passerbys in hustle bustle, and haste,
with a disposition of,
giving blind eyes!
No one hears his cry,
or what he speaks,
on a dusty cold pavement, he sits, & weeps,
not begging,
just distressed n numb,
merely able to speak!
Grieve stricken, insatiable eyes,
lacking hopes and dreams,
My angst remains against Mankind,
Why such Disparity they reap!
Sometimes a Living state, a hurting, horrendous tale,
A Cruel Reality,
Indeed!
What brings him to, such state,
I muster courage to ask, to speak,
In shrieking winds, sulking, he weeps,
His gaze, swiftly wanders around,
as if it waits, for someone’s compassionate grace!
Head down on knees,
he tries to sleep,
but someone's gentle nudge, startled!
A gentle voice, by an angel, indeed?
Beside him, stood a dainty old man,
like a Saviour, held an old coat and
some food, and, money to spare!
Asked what is his name?
And why he was there?
Often just these kind words, would fill up his empty stomach,
but commotion on street, wouldn’t, let him sleep!
My quest in life, remains,
Its meaning?
A journey, blindfolded, by Worldly Pleasures,
If so
Why still, melancholy seeps, in ours cheerful lives?
As,
Kind deeds, Heals!
Both to doer and receiver
Heal a soul, heal thyself!
Kindle warmth and love to every soul,
shower thy hidden love,
solace and embrace to heal,
an abandon soul,
wrap your warmth of kindness around,
shower mercy and love to all!
Mercy and Kindness, are as Valuable,
As are the pennies, dropped to a destitute!
Spare coins of kindness, love and happiness!
As
It Returns in Abundance !!!
Thus,
Filling Voids and Removing Melancholies of Life,
Refurbishing Souls!
Find out, The True Meaning of - This Sojourn,
Our Stay!
Became Human
