The Diversity Conference is one of several offered to
members of the Virginia State Bar. Introduced in 2010, the
Diversity Conference was originally created by the VSB
Council and approved by the Supreme Court of Virginia, in an
effort to increase diversity in the state’s legal profession and to
meet the evolving legal demands of an ever-changing
population.

3. One goal of the conference is to provide
an impetus for creating notable leadership
and bar service opportunities for those
involved in the profession, including the
judiciary. The conference is not funded by
bar dues, but rather through outside grants
and funds generated through the
conference’s work.
