The Bible is a unique book as it was written by God and tells the story of Jesus from creation to his second coming. It explains how Jesus came to save humanity from sin and what people must do to be saved, such as believing, repenting of sins, and being baptized. The Old Testament prepares for Jesus' arrival while the New Testament recounts his life and teachings and the spread of the church after his resurrection.
