A couple with two young children wants to transform their living area to create a contemporary yet bespoke atmosphere. The goals are to design custom drapery, select a paint color, and accessories to replace the vertical blinds and incorporate colors from their existing area rug. A washed linen fabric was chosen for the drapery and custom pillows to blend with a fresh new paint color, while Hunter Douglas screen shades allow light and views in while keeping UV rays and heat out. An artwork was also selected to complete the new contemporary living space.
