2. Details of Idea
2.1 Title of proposed idea/innovation:
The Cocoon of Anthropoid on Trauma Alleviation Using Virtual Reality
(Revised as: The Safety Measures On Stress Management Using Virtual Reality )
2.2 Brief details on whether the idea involves use of existing intellectual property or not:
• In the market, virtual reality is an existing technology which is focused mainly on gamification and visiting places
virtually and eventhough there are methods to reduce the stress but the solution for reducing stress using
Virtual Reality does not exist
• This proposed idea detects the stress level of the person and suggests their favourite place which would be
helpful to reduce their stress
2.3 Uniqueness of the idea:
• Being in the same place one can reduce his/her stress easily
• Not only the games but also other features like cartoons, yoga ,dream places etc.. will be available
• It gives solution for the people in different types of stress such as both physical and mental.
• Moving from one place to another place is not mandatory
• Here the introvert people can also express their feelings through VR
2.4 Concept & Objective:
• In contrast to other successful remedies for stress reduction, such as consulting a psychiatrist for counseling,
yoga, etc., our project provides a virtual solution with PPG sensor for stress dedection that would be as
effective as other successful remedies for stress reduction
• To reduce the stress among the people by being in the same place and leading a healthy life using Virtual
Reality
• To prevent the stress completely from the people and aid them to lead a happy life
• It helps people to balance their work life and personal life.
2.5 The potential audience of application in the market :
• Working people who suffers from stress
• Those who are restricted to move out of their place
• People who love to explore the world without travelling
• People who doesn’t want to spend much money on travelling or to treat stress
2.6 Market data for the idea:
36% of the people
suffer by stress due to
their work situation
45% of the people
suffer by stress due to
their disabilities
55.7 billion people
visit psychiatrist office
approximately
36% 45%

5. Summary of the idea:
• The proposed solution of us is a mobile app with virtual reality concept that is connected to a wearable
sensor that calculates the stress level
• Once the calculated stress level is beyond the normal level a notification pop up from the app
• This recommends the user to take a short break from their work and get rid of their stress
• Once the user enters the VR app, he/she will be asked to choose a place from the option where they
might get relaxed. As it is a VR app, it gives the feel of virtually moving to that place which would make
them feel relaxed
• As an add on, we also provide health tips that would aid people to completely get rid from the stress and
lead a healthy life
6 (a) Is it a new concept:
It is a new concept because with the help of virtual reality there is no solution for stress
management.
(b) Prior art on the concept:
There is no existing art on the concept of stress management using virtual reality.
7. Main Problem Being Addressed in the Project:
• The stress level of the individual has been detected using
photoplethysmography sensor
• The exploration of virtual world of one's favourite place is possible
using Virtual Reality to reduce stress
• The way of leading the healthy life is been demonstrated to create
awareness in order to prevent the stress
8. Background for getting the idea:
a) Who is it for:
It is mainly focused on the people who are
1. Stressed people
2. Students
3. People under work pressure
4. Senior citizens
b) What will it do:
It suggests the virtual world of favourite place to explore and reduce the stress level
c) Unique features:
Our VR app for stress reduction consists of healthy demonstration of life to create awareness to prevent
stress. VR app consists of virtual world of
1. Games
2. Yoga
3. Favourite places
4. Entertainment
9. Complexity of Idea execution:
• The complexity of implementing this idea with the technologies used comes under
the level of moderate
• The exploration of virtual world requires 3d videos to be created which is one of the
challenging factors
• It necessitates a great deal of domain expertise and knowledge to bring this notion to
life.
9.1 Risk factors involved in executing the idea:
• Exposure to virtual reality can reduce the ability of our vision due to uv rays in order
to overcome it ,the shield in front of the Virual Reality Headset will be used
• During the usage of Virtual Reality , One has to move certain distance where people
can hit with obstacles in front in order to prevent it , the alert message will be sent to
the user while crossing the 10 metres of distance.
10. TRL & SDG of prototype:
TRL 2 - Technology concept formulated
SDG 3 - Good Health and Well-being
11. Investment would need for prototyping of the Idea:
For prototyping, the requirements are:
1. VR headset
2. VR suit
3. PPG Sensor
4. Arduino Nano
5. 3D reconstruction
For developing the prototype we need 12,50,000
12. Intellectual property of your Idea:
We intend to patent the idea and the design the app-integrated virtual reality environment in the
future.
13. Idea can develop by:
• A wearable sensor that detects the stress level is connected to the mobile application.
Once the stress level reaches beyond the limit a notification pops up in the mobile
application
• It will be up to the user to choose which virtual world is ideal for them to relax in. The
virtual world includes parks, beaches, tourist sites in different countries, natural scenery,
games, cartoon worlds, etc., which is demonstrated using VR glass
• In the mobile application, the user has to sign up with their details before using it
• The user can log in whenever they need to access the app
• The app by default consists demonstration of a healthy life which is accessible to all the
users.
Detailed process to achieve the technical innovation:

Investment would need for prototyping of the Idea: For prototyping, the requirements are: 1. VR headset 2. VR suit 3. PPG Sensor 4. Arduino Nano 5. 3D reconstruction For developing the prototype we need 12,50,000 12. Intellectual property of your Idea: We intend to patent the idea and the design the app-integrated virtual reality environment in the future.
  • 21. 13. Idea can develop by: • A wearable sensor that detects the stress level is connected to the mobile application. Once the stress level reaches beyond the limit a notification pops up in the mobile application • It will be up to the user to choose which virtual world is ideal for them to relax in. The virtual world includes parks, beaches, tourist sites in different countries, natural scenery, games, cartoon worlds, etc., which is demonstrated using VR glass • In the mobile application, the user has to sign up with their details before using it • The user can log in whenever they need to access the app • The app by default consists demonstration of a healthy life which is accessible to all the users.
