The document proposes an idea for an automated domestic ghee maker. It would allow for ghee production from lactoderm in a batch process using less manual labor. The key components include a chamber with cooling system to freeze the lactoderm and separate casein, a stirrer and blender, butter extractor, preheater to melt the butter, and ghee collector. The idea aims to simplify and ease the ghee making process for rural communities and women. Financial requirements and a 14 month timeline are provided for prototyping and commercializing the product.

Generally Ghee making process involves human resources, Time consuming
Domestic Ghee Maker involves the automated process of making ghee from Lactoderm directly in batch mode.
• Production of Ghee from butter is an smart and Fully automated process for home applications
• This chamber has inbuilt cooling system to freeze the lactoderm and also the water to separate casein from milk
• Attached with stirrer and blender for the mixing of lactoderm and cold water to produce butter
• Butter extractor is fixed with the container to separate butter
• Preheater heats and melts the butter by supplying mild heating temperature to prepare ghee
• The ghee collector collects the ghee once the process is completed
• All these comes under single and portable machine for cowherds
2.4 Concept & Objective:
• To design a automated Ghee Maker
• To extract Ghee by using Less manpower

14. 5. Summary of the idea. (Technical solution)
This equipment helps to extract ghee from lactoderm of the milk. Production of Ghee from butter is an smart and fully
automated process from home applications. This equipment has a seperate chamber with inbuilt cooling system to freeze
the lactoderm while blending and also the water to separate casein from butter milk. It is also Attached with stirrer and
blender for the mixing of lactoderm and cold water to produce butter. Butter extractor is fixed with the container to
separate butter. Preheater heats and melts the butter by supplying mild heating temperature to prepare ghee. The ghee
collector collects the ghee once the process is completed.(Capacity)
6 (a) Is it a new concept?
Yes
(b) Prior art on the concept, if any
It is available only in Dairy industries in which the freezer, blender and heater are kept in a separate chamber where they
need some additional man power to transfer from one chamber to another chamber. Now we can fix all these three
chambers in single machine especially for rural village peoples and cowherds.
15. 7. Main Problem Being Addressed in the Project (Highlight the specific problem & solution addresses)
Total of about 128 million tons of milk each year is wasted either by manmade or machineries used for extracting by
products of milk. One of the major machinery used in the dairy industries is a ghee making machine and it is also a one of the
widely used milk product amongst the world. The production of ghee by homemade is encountered as a major problem in
recent days especially for women entrepreneurs and also for cowherds. Hence it is designed to launch a product based on
ghee extracting process
