The document discusses how Sophocles used mythology in his play Oedipus Rex. Specifically, it discusses how the myths he drew from provided the play with authority, as myths were seen as history during that time period when no formal records were kept. Using established myths allowed Sophocles to explore complex questions of fate, free will, and human nature without having to establish these concepts himself. The myths were already accepted parts of Greek culture that audiences were familiar with.
Oedipus is the son of King Laius and Queen Jocasta of Thebes. An oracle prophesied that Oedipus would kill his father and marry his mother. He leaves Corinth in an attempt to avoid this prophecy. On the road to Thebes, Oedipus kills an older man in a quarrel, not knowing it was his birth father Laius. The document provides an analysis of Sophocles' play Oedipus the King. It discusses how the play explores the concepts of fate versus free will through the tragic story of Oedipus. While Oedipus attempts to use his free will to uncover the murder of King Laius and solve the plague attacking Thebes, he ultimately fulfills the fate predicted for him unwittingly. The play uses irony to show how Oedipus's choices, though made with free will, lead him to fulfill the predetermined fate he was trying to avoid.

A reflection of how your life has changedevolved as a result of the.docxfredharris32
A reflection of how your life has changed/evolved as a result of the pandemic. The following are general questions to get you going (and to give you an idea of what I’m looking for).
· What has challenged you as a result of COVID-19?
· In what way has it changed your thinking of some of the topics we covered in class – food, gender, race, class, etc.?
· How has this pandemic affected your perspective of food, social media, news, and/or critical thinking (such as evaluating sources/information)?
· In what way has the shift into online learning affected your perspective of education, access to technology, and/or social inequity?
How you answer the above questions (all, a few, or just one) is up to you. In other words, what you say and how you say it, as well as what medium you want to convey the reflection is entirely your choice. The story, nonfiction essay, poem, play, art – these are all viable options in creating your reflection. But more than anything else, reflect on the impact of COVID-19 in a personal way.

A Look at the Marburg Fever Outbreaks
This week we will examine: Marburg Fever in Africa.
MARBURG VIRUS
The largest and deadliest outbreak of Marburg hemorrhagic fever on record occurred in 2005. The Ministry of Health (MOH) in Angola reported a total of 374 cases, including 329 deaths reported countrywide. The Angolan Government, WHO and other partners,
established a surveillance system for identification of suspected cases and follow up of their contacts. Mobile teams were sent to the field to investigate rumors, obtain clinical specimens for laboratory tests, hospitalize suspected patients and monitor their contacts
B. For the Marburg fever case, you will discuss the major obstacles and difficulties that public health officials and health care workers had in controlling the outbreak of Marburg fever and the solutions they found to these difficulties. Your response must also include the following:
1. What is Marburg hemorrhagic fever?
2. How is Marburg hemorrhagic fever prevented?
3. What needs to be done to address the threat of Marburg hemorrhagic fever?

A network consisting of M cities and M-1 roads connecting them is gi.docxfredharris32
A network consisting of M cities and M-1 roads connecting them is given. Cities are labeled with distinct integers within the range [o. (M-1)] Roads connect cities in such a way that each pair of distinct cities is connected either by a direct road or along a path consisting of direct roads. There is exactly one way to reach any city from any other city. In other words, cities and direct roads form a tree. The number of direct roads that must be traversed is called the distance between these two cities. For example, consider the following network consisting of ten cities and nine roads: 2 0 Cities 2 and 4 are connected directly, so the distance between them is 1. Cities 4 and 7 are connected by a path consisting of the direct roads 4-0,0-9 and 9-7; hence the distance between them is 3. One of the cities is the capital, and the goal is to count the number of cities positioned away from it at each of the distances 1,2,3,.., M -1. If city number 1 is the capital, then the cities positioned at the various distances from the If city number 1 is the capital, then the cities positioned at the various distances from the capital would be as follows: . 9 is at a distance of 1 · 0, 3, 7 are at a distance of 2; 8,4 are at a distance of 3; 2, 5, 6 are at a distance of 4. Write a function: class
Solution
t public int[] solution(int[] T)h that, given a non-empty array T consisting of M integers describing a network of M cities and M 1 roads, returns an array consisting of M-1 integers, specifying the number of cities positioned at each distance 1, 2,..., M - 1. Array T describes a network of cities as follows: · if T[P] Q and P = Q, then P is the capital; if T[P Q and P Q, then there is a direct road between cities P and Q. For example, given the following array T consisting of ten elements: T[2] 4 T[6]8 T[9] = 1 = 9 T[7] the function should return [1, 3, 2,3,0,0,0,0,01, as explained above. Write an efficient algorithm for the following assumptions: M is an integer within the range [1..100,000]; each element of array T is an integer within the range [0.M-1] there is exactly one (possibly indirect) connection between any two distinct cities.

A New Mindset for Leading Change [WLO 1][CLO 6]Through.docxfredharris32
A New Mindset for Leading Change [WLO: 1][CLO: 6]
Throughout the MAECEL program so far, you have encountered many opportunities to consider how you can make a difference as a professional and as a leader in the field of early childhood education. As Fullan (1993) states, as educators our purpose is “to make a difference in the lives of students regardless of background, to help produce citizens who can live and work productively in increasingly dynamically complex societies” (p. 4). Meaning, you, as an early childhood education professional and leader, have incredible capacity and potential to be a change agent who makes a positive difference in the lives of young children. With this new mindset in mind, please respond to each of the following prompts to share your insights on influencing educational change through action research.
· If you were to implement this study, what would be your next steps? How might implementation support better outcomes for young children and their families?
· Given the conditions discussed in Chapter 7 of the Mills (2014) textbook, discuss how you could support these conditions in an organization from the perspective of your current or future role in early childhood education.
· Share what it means to you to be a change agent in early childhood education and how you can leverage inquiry and research skills to promote quality education for young children.

How to Manage Reception Report in Odoo 17Celine George
A business may deal with both sales and purchases occasionally. They buy things from vendors and then sell them to their customers. Such dealings can be confusing at times. Because multiple clients may inquire about the same product at the same time, after purchasing those products, customers must be assigned to them. Odoo has a tool called Reception Report that can be used to complete this assignment. By enabling this, a reception report comes automatically after confirming a receipt, from which we can assign products to orders.

Definition of the Aristotle Tragic Hero
Aristotle, who was a great Greek philosopher, was a lover of
poetry and a literature-rich
person as he mechanized complex classical tragedy.
tragic hero is a character who faces A
[4]
adversity or portrays courage in the face of danger and during
the downfalls which come along
their way, they decisively confront them and thus becoming a
hero or the protagonist in the play.
However, in other settings, the tragic hero is displayed as a
character who demonstrates who
evokes an aspect of pity and fear in the audience since is a man
of misfortunes that come to him
through the horror of judgment. Aristotle referred to the
challenges or the downfalls as tragedies
which come about as a result of fate or by his own mistakes
or otherwise due to the various
social reasons ( Frye 46-68).
5. Aristotle used his character, Oedipus Rex as an example of a
tragic hero and helps him
exemplify the aspect of the protagonist throughout his
work. Oedipus is a character who
demonstrates many of the characteristics of a real tragic hero.
As an example of a perfect tragic
hero, he comes out as a person who has hubris or excess pride
so that he becomes blind to the
plain truth. He refuses to lend ears to the wise men such as
Tiresias, who makes a prediction that
Oedipus has killed his father, Laius ( The tragic nature is
outlined in Adade-Yeboah et al 23-28).
the struggles Oedipus has against his fate, perhaps
which resulted from his weakness, which

foster fear in the audience. His downfalls though are his own
created problems emanating from
his weakness making him fall from his own estate and face
undeserved punishment.
[0]
The misapprehension of tragic hero is founded on the
6. misreading of the word Aristotle's
Hamartia, which is eventually developed as the tragic flaw. In
the development of the historic
[0]
model, Oedipus is brought down by a flaw, his excess pride or
the hubris which made him miss
the mark as indicated by the use of the word hamartia. In his
work, its true say that the concept of
hamartia is concerned with the actions of Oedipus rather not his
character which is evident in the
notion that he is a tragic characteristically flawed person who
was then brought down by the
deep, internal unfitness and insufficiency for taking up
the leadership and rule. Oedipus's
[0]
position that he is greater than the gods, that he transcended the
destiny decreed by Apollo's own
was his flaw and showed his rooted pride ( Zepf et al 685-707).
However, to understand this particular model, one has to be able
to explain them as a
[0]
matter of rhetoric or for political convenience, the prospects
underlying the fact that Oedipus
often proclaimed the supremacy of gods and the importance of
promising what their due. The

certain. But although this was a

The tragic happenings of the king, Oedipus, originate from his
flaws, emanating from the
time when he was once a small child, through his youth up to
the time when he was grown up
and while he is the king. He goes through the so many

weakness, further exemplifying the tragic hero realities. While

hero is having tremendous downfalls due to their own weakness,
this is essentially what makes

9. the killer of the previous king, Laius is found, then Thebes
would be healed of the plague. Since
[5]
this was the prophetic solution to the current
stalemate, Oedipus vows to find the killer and
banish him, only he knew he had deco ted the grave where he
would be buried. The Chorus ra
(voice of the people of Thebes) demanded the king consults
Teiresias, the blind prophet.
[1]
When Teiresias was brought to the king, initially he became
reluctant to let the king get
the answers for his question citing that the king is not willing to
know the answer, but after the
king threatens Teiresias with death, he breaks the news that the
king himself was the killer of
Laius, and further insinuates that his marriage was a sinful
union. Taking issue with the response,
the king concludes that Creon was the one who had bribed
Teiresias to say what he said. Even

dismisses Teiresias out of fury of what he

people of Thebes that Laius killer is right
before him, revealing that he was his father's killer and his
mother's husband, and prophesied that
although he came seeing, he will leave blind a prophecy that
comes true at the end of the kings
era.

To justify her claims, Jocasta gives a story that long ago,

would kill him and as a result, he and Jocasta gave their infant
son to a shepherd so that he can

murdered by robbers but not his own son, proofing
that the oracles were not right. Oedipus
realizes something strange with his story because the place
where his father was killed wife's
corresponds to the place where he killed a stranger. To unravel
the dilemma, Oedipus sent out for
the only shepherd witness of his death who claimed that five
robbers had killed him. The father's
kin wishes that the witness confesses the killers of his Laius
were the five robbers, and then he
would be spared and exonerated ( Erskine 5-20).
King Oedipus once ignored the oracles while he was young as
he confirms to Jocasta that
the stories shared by her had some similarity with his past.
Once a young person, he met a man
[8]
who informed him that his parents were not his real father and
mother and when he went to the
oracles to establish his lineage, he was told that he would kill

became furies, left his hometown and never returned,
disobeying the gods. On his way, he came
across a man at the crossroad and killed the man because of
insulting him, which makes him
scared that this man could be his father ( Zepf et al 685-707).
His curiosity of knowing the truth about his downfalls made him
became more fearful of
the revelation, but yet he insisted to know. When Jocasta
knew the truth, she discouraged
Oedipus from doing an investigation into the matter but then, he
had promised to do it before the

people of Thebes so as to remove the plague. Jocasta left the
palace after learning of the truth an
unsuccessfully pleading with Oedipus to drop the
investigations. The old shepherd finally reveals

marked the Oedipus exit of the palace. Wanting to kill Jocasta,
Oedipus left out with a sword to
look for her, only to find her having hanged herself in her room.
Oedipus he removed his eyes
with the sword and asked to be banished from the land, leaving
his daughters with Creon and
marking the pitiful tragic end of Oedipus family.
From the tragic occurrences of the Sophocles “Oedipus”,
Oedipus the king so well
exemplified the characters of a tragic hero. According to
Aristotle, a tragic hero experiences his
own downfall as a result of their own weakness, which makes
the critical development of this
story, where the king suffered his own negligence.
