This Week’s Academics
Spelling– This week we focused on the most common spelling patterns for the /k/
sound and long /i/. We took our second spelling test today. As a reminder,
students will have a THT (take home task) every Thursday night and they receive their
2-5-8 with their missed spelling words on Monday (due Friday).
Reading– We finished reading Toto and took a test on it today. We will start Sarah
Plain and Tall next week.
Writing- We had a lot of fun using laptops to type our autobiographies this week! We
have now started working on biographies of classmates.
Math– We finished unit 1 of reviewing addition, subtraction, and missing addends.
We took our test today and we will start unit 2 on place value next week!
