This 3-day workshop teaches participants to build a single wind turbine capable of producing up to 500 watts of power. Participants will learn wind turbine theory, aerodynamic and electrical principles. They will construct the turbine from scratch, including the blades, alternator, and tower. The workshop is based on the work of pioneer Hugh Piggott and will be taught by experienced instructors Noam Dotan and Elad Orian. It takes place in June 2009 at the Vertigo Eco Art Village for 2,500 NIS. Space is limited to 15 participants.
