Narrator- unnamed, fond of welsh rabbit
Doctor Ponnonner- got permission to examine the mummy, asks the
Narrator to come examine the mummy with him and some others
Arthur Sabretash- brought the mummy from Egypt, Ponnonner's
cousin
Mr. Gildon- helped examine the mummy, translated the Egyptian
letters
Mr. Silk Buckingham- also helped translate the Egyptian letters
Allamistakeo- mummy that the men brought to life
3. CONFLICT
The men question the mummy about the
history of the Ancient Egyptians. Allamistakeo
argued with the men that the Egyptians were
much smarter than people today, but when
they found out that the Egyptians had no
knowledge of medicine, the men considered
themselves triumphant over the mummy.
6. RISING ACTION
1. The narrator is invited to doctor
ponnoner’s house to examine the
mummy.
2. The narrator arrives to doctor
ponnoner’s house and checks out
the sarcophagus.
8. FALLING ACTION
1. The Scientifics apologized with the
mummy because they brought her to like
without thinking the consequences.
2. They talk to the mummy and ask her
about her past.
9. RESOLUTION
They Scientifics humiliate the mummy
because they believe that they know more
that the mummy because of the time the
mummy was in her sarcophagus.
10. POINT OF VIEW
Human beings are ignorant because during
this story, we can observe that the
Scientifics look like they know everything in
that moment and they lost they humbleness
at the end of the story because the compete
with the mummy to know who’s more
intelligent and gets more knowledge.
