 Every term of the front binomial must
get multiplied by every term of the
other.
 Example: (x + 2)(x + 5)
(x + 2)(x + 5) = x(x + 5) + 2(x + 5)
= x(x) + x(5) + 2(x) + 2(5)
= x2 + 5x + 2x + 10
= x2 + 7x + 10
 Find the product.
 (x + 3)(x – 4)
 Find the product.
 (y + 4)(y + 1)
 (z – 2)(z + 6)
 Find the product.
 (3m + 1)(m + 9)
 Find the product.
 (-x + 3)(2x - 1)
 Find the product.
 (2p – 4)(3p + 2)
