We’re Wrestling Who? - Ephesians 6:10-13David Turner
Our battles are not against flesh and blood. Our battles are against Principalities and Powers. These adversaries are much bigger than us and cannot be defeated by our own strength. In Ephesians 6:10-13 Paul identifies who we are really wrestling with and follows up with advice on how to compete to gain victory. For this and other PowerPoint Presentations go to www.Bibleguy.org.
I Corinthians 14:37-38 God does not want us to be ignorant of concern for others, God's righteousness, the hardening of Israel, the possibility of our falling, spiritual gifts, what others do for us, Satan's Devices, the resurrection.
This talk explains the first two petals of TULIP and focuses on the question: do I choose God or does God choose me? These distinctions form the basis of Reformed Theology.
Paul state, "And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience..." Free PowerPoint Download at http://BibleGuy.org

All-Knowing- Dan 2:20-22, 1Ch 28:9
NIV Daniel 2:14-23
When Arioch, the commander of the king's guard, had gone out to put to death the wise men of Babylon, Daniel spoke to him with wisdom and tact. 15 He asked the king's officer, "Why did the king issue such a harsh decree?" Arioch then explained the matter to Daniel. 16 At this, Daniel went in to the king and asked for time, so that he might interpret the dream for him.
17 ¶ Then Daniel returned to his house and explained the matter to his friends Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. 18 He urged them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that he and his friends might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. 19 During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven 20 and said: "Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. 21 He changes times and seasons; he sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. 22 He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him. 23 I thank and praise you, O God of my fathers: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king."

The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. 7 He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel: 8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. 9 He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; 10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. 11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; 12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. 13 As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him; 14 for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

God gives you, so that you
will be able to stand up
against the Devil’s evil

We hope for, to be certain of the things
we cannot see.
5. The lords unfailing love and mercy still continue.
Fresh as morning as sure as the sunrise.
6. For you know the gracious act of our Lord Jesus
Christ, that for your sake he became poor
although he was rich, so that by his poverty
you might become rich.
7. Splendor and majesty go before him; praise
and joy are in his holy place.

17. MK 10: 43-45
“This, however, is not the way it is among
you. If one of you wants to be great, you
must be the servant of the rest; and if one
of you wants to be first, you must be the
slave of all. For even the Son of Man did
not come to be served; he came to serve
and to give his life to redeem many
people.”
18. Ps 32: 8
The Lord
says, “I will teach
you the way you

path Psalm 119:105
20. Then Jesus approached and said to them all
power in heaven and on earth has been given to
me. Go therefore and make disciples of all
nations baptizing them in the name of the father
and of the son and of the holy spirit. Teaching
them to observe all that I have commanded you.
And behold I am with you always, until the end
of the age.

29.
30. Trust in the lord with all your heart, on your own
intelligence rely not; In all your ways be
mindful of him, and he will make straight your
paths.
31. Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous,
[love] is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not
rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not
quick-tempered, it does not rejoice over
wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. It bears
all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
32. No trial has come to you but what is human god is faithful and will not let you be tried

He began to say, “Blessed are you who are
poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. 21
Blessed are you who hunger now, for you
shall be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep
now, for you shall laugh. 22 Blessed are you
when men hate you, and ostracize you, and
insult you, and scorn your name as evil, for
the sake of the Son of Man. 23 Be glad in
that day and leap for joy, for behold, your

61. May you always be joyful in your union with
the Lord. I say it again: rejoice!
Show a gentle attitude towards everyone. The
Lord is coming soon. Don’t worry about
anything, but in all your prayers ask God
for what you need, always asking him with a
thankful heart. And God’s peace, which is far
beyond human understanding, will keep
your hearts and minds safe in union with
Christ Jesus.

spiritual gifts, but the same
Spirit gives them. There are
different ways of serving, but
the same lord is served.
There are different abilities
to perform service, but the
same god gives ability to all
for their particular service.
65. Jesus answered, “ „ Love the Lord your God

from your presence; do not take your holy
spirit away from me. Give me again the joy that
comes from your salvation, and make me
willing to obey you.
69. For we fix our attention, not on things
