Brief introduction to Open ERP for international students of the International Bachelor in Information Management Programa. Deusto University is taking part in that program, besides of Tilburg University in Netherlands and Bentley University in Boston, MA, USA.
Fitter Snacker produces two snack bars and has separate sales, warehouse, and accounting systems. This leads to inefficiencies like errors from manual data sharing. An ERP system could integrate the systems and improve processes like order entry, inventory management, billing and payment processing through automation and real-time data sharing. However, changing to an ERP requires analyzing current processes and culture to see if the company is prepared for such a change.
case study on ERP success(cadbury) and failure(hershey's)Chitrangada Roy
Cadbury implemented SAP ERP successfully, reducing costs through integrated systems. However, initial rollout caused excess inventory as production was not properly coordinated. Hershey rushed its ERP implementation in 2.5 years instead of 4, sacrificing testing. This caused order fulfillment issues, lost sales of $150M, and a 25% inventory increase, showing risks of compressed schedules. Both show ERP can integrate operations but must be carefully planned to avoid disruptions.

Their approach not only maintains the confidentiality of the original data but also enhances the utility and scalability of LLMs under privacy constraints. Attendees, including machine learning engineers, data scientists, and data managers, will witness first-hand how Secludy's integration with Milvus empowers organizations to harness the power of LLMs securely and efficiently.

HCL Notes und Domino Lizenzkostenreduzierung in der Welt von DLAUpanagenda
Webinar Recording: https://www.panagenda.com/webinars/hcl-notes-und-domino-lizenzkostenreduzierung-in-der-welt-von-dlau/
