Assay Development and Drug Repurposing Core
The MSU Assay Development and Drug Repurposing Core provides resources for high-throughput screening and training for researchers to aid in drug discovery and repurposing. It offers a range of sophisticated equipment and access to a large chemical library, along with support for grant opportunities. Additionally, it fosters collaboration among MSU researchers through seminars and a dedicated communication platform.

Equipment – Liquidhandling Multidrop 384 Reagent Dispenser • Peristaltic pump based cassette dispenser • Dispense 96- and 384-well plates • 5 to 395 mL volume range (5 mL increments) EL406 Microplate Washer Dispenser • Peristaltic pump based cassette dispenser • 1 mL and 5 mL cassettes • 96-well washer module • Syringe pumps dispensers • Variable dispense and aspiration rates Biomek FX Laboratory Automation Workstation • Automated/programmable robotic dual arm system with 96-multichannel pipettor and Span-8 pipettor (8 individually controlled channels) • Equipped with 384-pin tool • Small volume plate to plate transfers (i.e. compound plate to assay plate) • Volume range - 100 nL to 200 nL
