Goals for thesession: ▪ Review the 5th grade testing calendar ▪ Introduce you to the question types/test items in each subject ▪ Share web resources for you and your child ▪ Provide pointers for what you can do to help during testing ▪ BURNING QUESTIONS: Please use index cards provided to jot down questions as we go; we will post answers to all questions after the session.
- 3. 5th grade TestingSchedule ▪ Please mark your calendars and plan accordingly. ▪ If your child is ill, please keep him/her home. Students may not finish a session if they leave the school (ex: check out sick) during a session, and sessions must be taken in order. FSA/FCAT 2.0Testing Date Time Writing March 5 90 minutes Math April 13 and 14 2 (80) minutes sessions 60 – 64 problems total ELA April 20 and 21 2 (80 minute sessions) 56 – 60 questions total Science April 29 and 30 2 (80 minute sessions) 60 -66 items 5th graders will also take district testing for Art, P.E, and Music and core subjects throughout the spring.
