available. There are lots of generalist job boards out there, the main ones are:

Getting in touch with recruitment agencies is another great way to find a job. There are thousands of
recruitment companies in the UK; some are big businesses that work across lots of sectors, the

the most out of working with a recruitment company, be clear about what you are looking for, have

LinkedIn is a professional network that has a popular job search feature www.linkedin.com.
Spend time creating your profile and add key information including education, work experience and a
good quality summary. Keep it professional by uploading a smart profile picture and a cover photo
that represents your interests.
When you apply, be sure to attach your CV, your LinkedIn profile alone isn’t enough for most
employers and recruiters to assess your fit for the role you’ve applied for.

The most attractive option for graduates is to apply to companies directly.
If you already have an idea of who you would like to work for, check out their website and look for the
careers section. You will usually find a link in the footer, or in a section like the ‘about us’.
There will be lots of companies out there that you’ve not heard of yet but could be a great fit for you,
so do a bit of research to broaden your options.
If for example, your dream job is with KPMG, search for KPMG on LinkedIn. On their company page,
you will see a ‘Similar Companies’ bar on the right-hand side with six other company suggestions that
could be a good fit.
