of hyponyms & hypernyms; and
• give the hyponyms & hypernyms correctly.
What are HYPONYMs?
• Are words that refer to subcategories or members
of a more general or broader class.
Example:
Rose, is the hyponym of flower.
Example:
Red, is the hyponym of color.
What are HYPERNYMs?
• Are words with a broad meaning that more specific
words fall under; a superordinate.
Example:
Animal, is the hypernym of cat.
Example:
Number, is the hypernym of one (1) .
