This is one of the sessions in our course on Presentation Styles
For over two decades, I have seen or heard thousands of presentations! The ones that clinch the deal are those which are not only well planned and prepared but also well delivered with the right punch, the right voice control, right dress for the occasion, the right presentation aids and so details which might appear trivial but make or break a deal. I have also seen presentations that are forgotten the minute they are over – a few claps but no action. I have had the opportunity of helping over a thousand managers, supervisors and CEOs transform to deliver presentations that result into Approvals or Orders. I don’t lecture anything – but prepare you to prepare and deliver.
During the workshop you will actually make and DELIVER several rounds of presentations on video which will be recorded and played back with feedback – right till you are READY to make that winning presentation on your own – over and over again.
Based on one of Pam's blogs; the Bog Standard New Rules of Communication. Find 10 tips to improve the way you connect with people through your communication style. Great for the boss or anyone who wants to break through the clutter and better connect with people.

Improving Communication: The Basics You Must Follow
1. 5 things that make a great leader
http://www.paramounttraining.com.au 1
2. Leaders, they say, are born, not made. I’m not sure I agree with that. Leadership skills
can be taught, and it is something that will help you within the organization as well as
in several other phases of life.
Here are the 5 things that I think make a great leader:
Vision
Vision is an extremely important part of being a leader. You’ve got to be able to
inspire your teams, and for that, thinking forward is crucial. Great leaders are great
visionaries.
Communication
A good leader is a great communicator. If you can’t communicate your ideas to your
team, or are unable to understand what they have to say, your days as a leader will be
numbered.
Accountability
Good leaders are accountable. They hold themselves to the same standards that they
expect of others, and they take all the accountability for their and their team’s work
and its results.

3. Creativity
As a leader, you aren’t supposed to create followers. You are supposed to foster
creativity and create a team that’s capable of thinking on its feet. People should be
able to do the best work of their lives with you.
Attention to details
Great leaders are able to pay attention to minor details without missing the forest for
the trees. As a leader, you have got to be able to do the same day in and day out.
***
Leadership is solving problems. The day soldiers stop
bringing you their problems is the day you have stopped
leading them. They have either lost confidence that you
can help or concluded you do not care. Either case is a
failure of leadership.
