This document summarizes a presentation on a study about service quality dimensions and customer perceived value in retail banks among Mexican consumers. The study tested hypotheses about relationships between service quality performance, customer satisfaction, loyalty, and perceived value. The results supported a direct relationship between service quality and satisfaction/loyalty but rejected relationships with perceived value. The conclusion notes that service quality may not be a real source of brand differentiation. Future studies could improve the measurement of perceived value.
