Task - Landscaping
Map the existing landscape at the national level on OSC:
❑ initiatives
❑ policies, and
❑ topics:
❑ infrastructures
❑ services
❑ FAIR data implementation
❑ data privacy
❑ procurement practices
❑ research assessments

Sub-tasks
List of all sub-tasks (some are already completed):
❑ creating stakeholder groups 
❑ creating comprehensive lists of institutions for stakeholder groups in all
partner-countries  (> 350 units)
❑ designing, creating a survey, reviewing, GDPR-ing 
❑ invitation letter  (partners will have to translate, and expand)
❑ collecting responses (will start on October, 21st)
❑ will be open for 4 weeks
❑ drafting a report
The final report due in December, 2019

Survey
Based on:
❑Several already existing surveys: EC-NREN, EUA, RCC, RDA, FAIRsFAIR
❑EOSC Pillar draft version (compare with the final version)
❑Internal project needs
Facts:
❑ common set of questions for all groups (profile & EOSC expectations)
❑ the shortest survey is for Funders, the longest survey is for OS facilitators
❑ maximum 30 minutes to fill it out
❑ supplied with links to web-pages explaining (potentially) less known terms
❑ all questions are on the same page (it can be printed)

Next steps – plan for the next 6 months
❑ Initial mapping ORDM certification standards and instruments and
categorisation
❑ Refinement of categorization of services
❑ Decision about the very first services to be onboarded (2 thematic, 2
generic, 2 repositories)
❑ Setting up of preproduction platform, including helpdesk
❑ Early dissemination and training campaign
