This document provides a 5 minute introduction to Case Management and Modeling Notation (CMMN). CMMN offers a common notation for modeling cases and case management work patterns through elements like stages, tasks, events, and a case file. It provides flexibility over prescriptive processes by enabling planning of activities at runtime based on events, conditions, and actions.
