Nighttime eating makes you fat
A - Put this diet myth to bed.
B - There’s no conclusive proof that late-night meals cause weight gain
C- It’s the too many calories that cause the increase in weight
D- Still eating right before bedtime can cause heartburn and indigestion

Recommendation:
Try to stick to regular - low calories meal
and earlier mealtimes
Coffee is not good for You
A- This is a recently debunked diet myth
B- In moderation-2 to 3 cups daily- is a safe part of a healthy diet
C- Studies suggest that coffee may help reduce the risk of cardiovascular
disease, diabetes, and some cancers due to its antioxidants effects

Recommendation:
Keep coffee calories in check by avoiding cream, sugars and
flavored syrups
Drink more water
                  to peel off pounds
A - Water is vital to your body—but a weight loss aid? NOT REALLY
B - Water will help you lose weight if it keeps you away from high-calorie
drinks
C- May provide satiety feeling

Recommendation:
Adding water to your diet, without changing
 anything else, makes no difference in
lowering the numbers on your scale
Carbohydrates lead to weight gain
A -This the most believed myth. Not all carbohydrates are bad for you
B - People tend lose weight on low carbohydrates diets because there is
always calories restriction, and fewer calories add up to fewer kg overtime

Recommendation:
Carbohydrates are the main source of energy to your bodies
so don’t deprive your body from its fuel.
Skip breakfast and
                You will lose weight
A- It seems like an easy diet win: Skip breakfast and you'll lose weight.
B- Yet some studies show the opposite can be true. Not eating breakfast can
make you hungry later, leading to too much nibbling and binge eating at
lunch and dinner.

Recommendation:
To lose weight -- and keep it off –
always make time for a healthy
morning meal, like high-fiber cereal,
 low-fat milk, and fruits

If it sounds                   Ask yourself,
“to good to be true”,          “who says so?”
it definitely is.               Is the information based
                               on only one small study?


     There is no secret ingredient to weight loss or
 maintenance. Eating right and exercise are what matters
