ELECTRONIC SAFETY SYSTEM FOR MULTIPLE FUNCTIONS

The current society, in all its expressions of human life, is hit by an
undetermined number of casualties, often fatal. Fatigue is one of its main
causes.
The use of drugs or medication, age and the nature of psychophysics
disorders penalize the safety of a person, who is then unable to quickly and
securely react to an unexpected and unpredictable event. It is therefore
fundamental to be able to prevent such situations.
So far, many but useless efforts have been made by the public
apparatus to reduce the number of accidents.
The current preventive measures, such as the Breathalyzer and speed
cameras, do not give certain and reliable feedbacks to correctly define the
social problems described above.
On the contrary, the aim of Riflessometro RCCS is to overcome these
uncertainties.

The Riflessometro is a safety device, which assures the psychophysical
ability of the individual in order to prevent and reduce every situation
individually and socially dangerous, in any circumstances such as the driving
of land, rail, air and naval vehicles and the use of electrical devices (every
type of machinery).
This is possible through a test consisting in the representation of a
visual and/or acoustic response to a sudden event, resulting in the manual
pressure exerted with speed and promptness when a light, a picture or a
sound switches on.
The above device, with the addition of multifunctional detectors, such as
the tiredness, sleep and attention recognition systems, is then installed
directly on the steering wheel preventing ignition of the vehicle in case of the
driver’s inadequate suitability.
The device is moreover able to check vehicle speed, obstacles and
their safety distance, switching on the brake lights and emergency lighting in
case of danger, controlling the vehicle itself according to signs, such as
speed limit, dangerous curve, pedestrian crossing, crossing traffic lights and
all other danger signals provided by the rules of the road, aerial, naval and
railway navigation, in relation to the psychophysical suitability ascertained
through the test.
The same applies to the functions of the electronic user, preventing
ignition in case of inadequate suitability, checking the unsafe points and the
safety distance, determining the lighting of emergency lights to signal a
dangerous event, instantly blocking the user in case of immediate danger, in
relation to the ascertained psychophysical suitability.
All information is stored in a black box protected by an inviolable
memory and accessible only to those legally entitled.
The system can be used in every field being it related to safety or not,
such as work, sport.
Additionally it can be employed on a personal basis and in all situations
where more immediate attention and warnings are required.

It satisfies the primary needs of protection of human life, guaranteed by
the Constitution and by the same ECHR (European Convention on Human
Rights), thus fulfilling its twofold constitutional theorem:
"A touch helps you to save your life"
"I preserve my life in order to protect the safety of others."
The RCCS device also interacts with the control unit of the vehicle
becoming an antitheft system that, in the case of unauthorized movement,
sends a warning message to the mobile phones of the vehicle owner.
Through the sensors, it then activates the stand/alone lights and
stoplights of the car to warn the vehicles ahead, signaling a slowdown or an
imminent danger and also automatically reducing the speed.
The aim is therefore to offer the opportunity to voluntarily or
compulsorily undergo the test to the person who is going to face different
types of dangers: road, rail, air, naval, in the workplace, school, during sports
and leisure time.
The test is carried out in order to determine the real driving or operating
ability, or the reactivity to external stresses, which may be compromised
either by the degree of alcohol in the blood, or by the low psychophysical
abilities due to fatigue, use of drugs or debilitating medicine. Such ability my
also be jeopardized by the degree of stress and age and also by the effect of
any other factor causing injury.
