conformity assessment body conveying formal
demonstration of its competence to carry out specific
conformity assessment tasks” (ISO IEC 17011)
3rd party periodic review that inspection body still
complies with all requirements as stipulated by ISO
17020

The personnel of the inspection body shall be free from
any commercial, financial and other pressures which
might affect their judgement.
Procedures shall be implemented to ensure that persons
