Pathfinder Support: Objectives
• Get the maximum number of Pathfinders and Fast Followers
tender-ready in 2013 by creating a communication channel
directly with 3ML Industry Working Group
• Allow Pathfinders to tap into the pool of expertise that only an
Industry Grouping has
• Provide technology–agnostic advice to the Pathfinders
• The Support sub-committee will not restrict 3ML IWG companies
from normal market engagement with the Pathfinders
• Centralise the information and support needs and provide the
quickest mechanism to get a pipeline of 3ML tenders flowing in
2013

Support Group: Implementation
• The Pathfinder Support sub-committee exists to
signpost Pathfinders to information they require to
create public tenders.
• The Support sub-committee, will engage with the
Pathfinders and Fast Followers to understand
what blockers they are experiencing in writing and
releasing their 3ML tenders.
• The goal of the Support Sub-committee is only to
get the Pathfinders to the point of public Tenders.

• DH Ethics guidelines will be adhered to
• Open and transparent communications
• Accountable to IWG – TAs - DH
• Ethical approach to information shared
• Honest appraisal of stage of tender-readiness
• Helpful source of impartial advice and
signposting
• Technology agnostic approach
• Solution neutral opinions offered

Support Group: Ground Rules
• No product/service/offering pitches
• Only examples of generic offerings can be discussed
• Any information shared must be considered ‘in the public
domain’
• No ‘under-NDA’ information to be shared
• Companies should share proprietary information via separate
commercial conversations
• Pricing and costs can not be discussed
• Finance models will be handled by Commercial sub-committee
• Pathfinder staff will be made aware that their contact information
is in the public domain
• Supplier days will be encouraged

Support Group: Operation
• All conversations/meeting will be minuted
• No one-one conversations/communications are permitted
• Minutes will be available on 3ML Dropbox
• Meetings will be every 3 weeks
• Each Pathfinder will nominate 1 permanent liaison person + 1
other per meeting
• Questions for the IWG should be submitted in writing 1 week
bee]fore meeting
• Questions and written answers will be available on IWG Dropbox
• A scorecard will be produced for each site each month at IWG
meeting
