Scotchfil is an electrical insulation putty that comes in tape form. It is made of a synthetic rubber and provides excellent electrical insulation for low-voltage connections up to 600 volts. The putty can be used to insulate cable splices and fill irregular spaces, helping to create a uniform surface for taping. It adheres well without drying out and applies cleanly. The putty has high dielectric strength and insulation resistance, protecting connections from heat up to 80°C.
