 The Hindu is an English-language Indian daily newspaper, established and still running.
 The hindu was launched to support the campaign of Madras High Court and A counter balance to the Anglo-Indian
Press propaganda against him. It was one of the many newspapers of the time when Hindu was established. To
protest against the British government's discriminatory policies in India. About 80 copies of the first edition were
printed at Srinidhi Press, Georgetown borrowed money in rupees and 12 annas.
 Subramanian Iyer became the first editor and Veera raghavachariar became the managing editor.
 The newspaper was initially liberal in its direction and favored British continuation ruled in India. The newspaper was
originally printed by Srinidhi Press but was later continued Scottish Press, then Hindu Press, Mylapore, and finally
the National Press on mountain roads. Weekly paper became three weekly papers Daily evenings in 1883 and 1889.
The price of his copy of the newspaper is four anaas.
MODERN HISTORY

and 4% Average Readership (AIR) in Q3 2019 solidified. The Times of India and Hindustan Times declined on their
AIR.
The Hindu added 461,000 readers across the country in the third quarter, according to the latest Indian Reader
