Lockout this switch while doing
the pre-operation walkaround
inspection, remove when
completed.
6. Fire Suppression Activation Buttons
Check Pin, Button,
Hoses and CO2
bottle.
One is located on
ripper toolbar on the
rear of dozer.
Another button is
located inside the
operators cab.
7. Stop machine safely
Set parking brake
Shut down engine
Activate Fire Suppression System
Evacuate Equipment Safely
12. Fuel gauge is located
on dash inside
operators cab
Fuel cap and
fuel lock cover
13. Coolant level warning
light and temperature
gauge located on dash
inside operators cab. Do
not remove radiator cap
when engine is hot to
check coolant level.
24. Make sure to have the pre-operation
inspection form filled out correctly
List equipment type, unit number, starting
engine hours and ending hours
Your name, date, shift and crew
Any safety items not working properly, the
machine is down until it is fixed
List all areas that is not working correctly
Make sure to turn in to supervisor at the
end of your shift
