Abstract According to my book, Entwistle speaks about how different models shed understanding of God word

Introduction
According to the literature Entwistle, openly depicts the two as a fork that is in the road. This saying in most
cases it is often used as an epiphany to widely describe when an individual wants to make a major life-changing
decision and that the outcome will sometime determine where the journey in life will take a person. He goes

Sinning is not a normal lifestyle for those people who believe in God. When we commit sin there is always an effect on us and the people around us. Sin takes away our ability to understand the truth in spirit. Christians always depend upon the Holy Spirit so that they may expect to learn permanent values of the spirit. Many believers assume that God loves them so much that He overlooks their indiscretions, lapses and little faults. However, in the eyes of the Lord regardless of how small it is, sin is sin. Eventually sin will always find you out.
In the beginning, there was no sin or evil in the earth. The entire earth was perfect (Koslowski, 2017). However, a time came when sin entered the world and their immediate consequences were catastrophic. Sin is a form of slavery to mankind (peels,2018). It is therefore important to study on how sin enslaves people. We also need to know the effects of our personal relationships with God when we sin. This would help us explore ways in which we can manage and maintain good relationships with our father. The study would also explain how sin causes death and how mankind can avoid it.
In this paper we will analyze the different forms of sin and its origin. We will also outline the Bibles’ view on sin and how it impacts our normal way of living and our relationship with God. There will be a section in this paper for the discussion of the wages of sin and provide numerous examples from the bible. Later, we will come up with ways in which mankind can manage to live a life without sin. We will then come up with a conclusion based on our topics of discussion listed above.

Slide 1: Overview of my artifacts
I will be working on the theme of beliefs. I will be looking into some past religious artifacts such as the classical art pieces of Jesus, Moses, etc. I will explain what the artworks mean to me and I will also allow the audience to give their interpretation of what I am showing. I will be able to portray the theme of religion, beliefs, and time by comparing the different pieces.
Slide 2: Theme’s Impact on my audience
I believe that as people grow up from birth, they do not have much power in the religion they would like to associate with. Parents have become the sole determinants of where our faith and religion lie and I would like to allow my audience to think through the choices that were made for them. I believe that this presentation will help my audience ponder and see whether they will still choose the religion and beliefs they grew up knowing. For instance, some of the audience members may have been brought up with the notion that there is only one God, a supernatural being, yet they probably doubt it and they would choose to be atheists in their adulthood.
Slide 3: Evidence
I grew up in a very strict family and my parents forced me to go to church every other Sunday. I never liked church because I felt like I lived a fake life. Besides, I noticed that most church members were not staunch and some did some actions that were against the church teachings. However, my mother could not hear it and I only got the freedom to do as I chose after I got my ID. Typically, my religion was forced and I am so glad that I am in a better situation now although my past experiences make me question my life choices from time to time.
Slide 4: Importance of my theme and artifacts
I chose this theme because I like exploring the past Roman culture and I also grew up as a Christian. I feel like this project provides a chance to explore the similarities between the two. Just like the languages that have the same roots, I think that religions are also tied and this research will help demonstrate this. My audience and I will get a chance to be open-minded and not just think within the religious confinements.
Slide 5: Benefit of studying Humanities
Humanities is a means for people to be open-minded about different things such as cultures, religions, etc., and helps us comprehend what sets us apart from other people. Personally, taking this course has helped me identify different artifacts and it has given me different perspectives on things.
Slide 6: Importance to society
One of the greatest benefits of studying humanities is learning how to express compassion. Compassion is wide and having it since childhood would help us appreciate and respect everyone's religion. Abstract
This paper will discuss psychology and Christianity: Two disciplines that seem to be difficult subjects when discussing an integrated approach. There are some people who believe that, psychology has become one completely different subject than Christianity and both at times have lost all connection with the other. In addition, there are integrative models of disciplinary that think psychology is strictly a science and Christianity is solely based on faith and religion and the two cannot be integrated together. After further review of evidence, it seems that the integration approach for both disciplines are given by God and that they both should be integrated to create a more understanding of humanity. The focus of this paper is to describe the Allies” model and how it relates to integrating two disciplines; psychology and Christian faith. In addition, the strengths and limitations of the Allies model will be discussed. Also included are definitions of both subjects and views on different approaches towards this matter. Scriptures will be added that correspond with this approach, as well as, several factors that lead to the integration process of both disciplines. After further studies of the evidence of various disciplines, it seems like the “Allies” model best fits the relationship between psychology method and Christianity.
Integration between Christian faith and Psychology
Webster dictionary states that psychology is, “The science of mind and behavior and the study of mind and behavior in relation to a particular field of knowledge or activity” (Merriam-Webster, 2017). Whereas, Christianity is defined, “A religion based on the person and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, or its beliefs and practices” (Merriam-Webster, 2017). After the evidence from various disciplines of study, it seems that a person’s foundation is based on what we see and how we know. This leads a person to believe that it is crucial for Christian counseling to use both psychology and Christianity. There are several different methods that psychological theory and science use to gain knowledge. These are: “Logic,” “Empiricism,” “Revelation,” and “Hermeneutic” (Entwistle, 2015. P. 97). Whereas, experiments in psychology use deductive logic when testing a hypothesis. Inductive reasoning uses experiments that show a correlation by manipulating the variables. For instance, we use science to find out if a statement is true or false. An idea is a suggestion upon which an argument is based or from which a conclusion is drawn. For.

DIRECTIONS
What do the four parts of the Christian Biblical Narrative (i.e., creation, fall, redemption, and restoration) say about the nature of God and of reality in relation to the reality of sickness and disease? From where would one find comfort and hope in the light of illness according to this narrative? Explain in detail each part of the narrative above and analyze the implications.
Biomedical Ethics in The Christian Narrative
Introduction
The reality of religious pluralism (the view that there are many different religions with different teachings) does not logically imply any sort of religious relativism (the view that there is no such thing as truth, or that everything is a matter of opinion). There are genuine distinctions between religions and worldviews. Given this fact, it is imperative that one be tolerant of differences and engage civilly with those of different religions or worldviews. It might be tempting to think that one is being tolerant or civil by simply rolling all religions into one sort of generic "spirituality" and to claim that all religions are essentially the same. But this is simply false. Once again, there are genuine and important differences among religions; these differences are meaningful to the followers of a particular faith. To simply talk of some sort of a generic "spirituality," while maybe properly descriptive of some, does not accurately describe most of the religious people in the world. Furthermore, this terminology often reduces religion to a mere personal or cultural preference, and it ignores the distinctions and particularity of each. The point is that such a reductionism is not respectful of patients. It should also be noted that atheism or secularism are not simply default or perfectly objective (or supposedly scientific) starting positions, while religious perspectives are somehow hopelessly biased. Every religion or worldview brings with it a set of assumptions about the nature of reality; whether or not a particular view should be favored depends upon whether or not it is considered true and explains well one's experience of reality.
Biomedical Ethics
Bioethics is a subfield of ethics that concerns the ethics of medicine and ethical issues in the life sciences raised by the advance of technology. The issues dealt with tend to be complex and controversial (i.e., abortion, stem cell research, euthanasia, etc.). In addition, bieothics usually also involves questions of public policy and social justice. As such, the complexities of bioethical discussion in a pluralistic society are compounded. There have been several different approaches to bioethical questions put forth that have to do with the theory behind ethical decision making. Three positions have been prominent in the discussion principalism (also known as the four principle approach), virtue ethics, and casuistry. For this lecture, it will be useful to outline principalism and to describe the general contours of a Christian app.

Abstract According to my book, Entwistle speaks about how
3. different models shed understanding of God word
helps humans can become more stronger if they follow his
works. Although I found more information regarding
theology which is the study of God and his will and kingdom.
Psychology is the study of the human mind and it is
designed to function in this world. Christ is the way the truth
and light, not some scientific method that is going
to heal our thoughts, emotions only the word of God can soothe
our soul with his word. After analyzing the
ingratiation approaches of Christianity and psychology. He
clearly stated the approaches as a subject is normally
being avoided because the existence of two methods that are
involved cohesive slightly containing different
topics; 1 CHRISTIANITY AND PSYCHOLOGY. While most
remained being reserved or natural about the
entire matter others have question nor thought in regards to the
concerned subject.
Introduction
According to the literature Entwistle, openly depicts the two as
a fork that is in the road. This saying in most
cases it is often used as an epiphany to widely describe when an
individual wants to make a major life-changing
decision and that the outcome will sometime determine where
the journey in life will take a person. He goes
4. further showing how an individual has been great against one
another because of the involved two practices ever
since the beginning of time frames. Thereafter he goes beyond
explaining to incorporate Blamires the alternative
rendition of the Tertulian’s point of view. “Blamires aids people
to see what they can learn from “sources while
they are framing their thinking with Christians all over the
world and also apply the knowledge with the concern
of Christian. 4 BY LOOKING AT THIS GREAT IDEA HE,
THEREFORE, ENTERTAINS THE
POSSIBILITY OF PSYCHOLOGY AND THEOLOGY FOR IT
TO CO-EXISTENCE IN THE SAME
AREA BECAUSE OF THE NATURE OF BOTH TOPICS; ONE
IS BASED ON THE TRUTH AND THE
OTHER IS SOLELY FOUNDED ON FAITH.
THE INTRODUCTION OF THE BOOK MAJORLY HAD
PROFANED THE FOUNDATION SO AS IT
JOINS THE COMMON ASPECTS OF THEOLOGY AND
PSYCHOLOGY TOO, "COMMIT TO

(Entwistle, 56). Of integrating science, faith and look and the

also how scholars of the time frame view either of the topics. 4
ENTWISTLE CLOSES THIS PARTICULAR
CHAPTER WITH ONE THOUGHT THAT HE STRONGLY
6. BELIEVED IT COULD BE THE
FOUNDATION OF WHY AN INDIVIDUAL SHOULD
ALWAYS INCORPORATE EACH PRACTICE.
5 “THE INTERACTION OF THEOLOGY AND PSYCHOLOGY
IS CONSIDERED BEING
VIRTUALLY INEVITABLE DUE TO THEIR MUTUAL
INTEREST IN UNDERSTANDING THE
MYSTERIES AND THE AMBIGUITY OF THE HUMAN
BEHAVIOR, AND ALSO HEALING HUMAN
BROKENNESS”. (Entwistle, 2015).
6 METHODS OF KNOWING
The methods of knowing are the techniques of gaining
understanding. There are mainly five methodologies of
gaining an understanding/knowledge. The first method of
gaining knowledge is called intuition (Price, Jhangiani,
Chiang, Leighton & Cuttler, n.d.). Intuition refers to emotions,
instincts or gut feelings that direct an individual.
Instead of utilizing rational thinking, intuition makes a person
believe upon what he/she feels to be true. The
most usual technique of gaining an understanding is an
authority. It means that people approve novel concepts
because some of the authorities say that those concepts are true.
These authoritative figures involve the media,
7. parents, religious authorities, the government, priests, and
professors (Price et al., n.d.).
6 THE THIRD METHOD OF ACQUIRING AN
UNDERSTANDING IS RATIONALISM. Rationalism
refers to the utilization of reasoning and argumentation to gain
new understanding. This technique involves the
employment of described and logical principles to reach at
strong inferences. The fourth method is empiricism
(Price et al., n.d.). This technique involves grasping an
understanding with the help of investigation and
encounter. The final technique of knowing is scientific
methodology. This method involves systematic gathering
and assessment of evidence to examine concepts and respond to
queries.
The methods of knowing that are best suited to Christianity are
authority and empiricism. Christians can attain
an understanding of their religion through authority characters.
These authority figures help the people reach at
the inferences that they are not able to understand on their own.
To gain a detailed understanding about biblical
scriptures, it is important for the Christians to seek for an
assistance of an authority figure. Another method of
grasping knowledge that is appropriate for Christians is
empiricism. Empiricism makes the people learn about
8. different concepts through experience and scrutiny. Christians
are depending on empiricism to validate the
events; however, people are restricted in what they investigate
and encounter. For example, people developed the
concept of day and night because it was devised by the God.
God named the light as ‘day’ and darkness as ‘night.’
Christians can validate their ideas through observation.

4 THE MODELS ENTWISTLE ALSO GIVES SOME IN-
DEPTH ANALYSIS OF THE WORLDVIEW
AND HISTORY OF VARIOUS BELIEF AND CULTURE
SYSTEMS AND THEIR NATURE ON HOW
THEY COME TO BE. AS THE WHOLE SOCIETY SLOWLY
TRANSITIONED FROM THE MODERN
PERSPECTIVE TO POSTMODERN POINT OF VIEW,
EPISTEMOLOGY SET IN AND ALSO
CAUSED A RIPPLE IN THE LOGICAL EMPIRICISM AND
REASONING OF THE WORLD. Entwistle
had quest to acquire virtue that he reminds the reader that by
saying that a person is restricted by being
9. vulnerable to mistakes and the most significant virtue is
possessing a characteristic of having a modest view of
one’s significance. 4 IF PEOPLE FAIL TO EXERCISE THE
VALUE OF HUMILITY, THEY RUN THE
RISK OF BEING QUITE SURE OF THEMSELVES WHICH IS
QUITE WRONG. WHEN THIS IS
SAID, HE GOES ON PROVIDING INSIGHTS THAT HE
CLEARLY KNOWS THAT AS A HUMAN
RACE PEOPLE CANNOT DO IT ON THEIR OWN AND
THEREFORE, “INDIVIDUAL MIGHT
WANT TO THINK OF CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY AND
THEOLOGY AS INSTRUMENTS IN AN
ORCHESTRA”. (P 131) PEOPLE CAN USE WHAT THEY
NEED SO AS THEY REMAIN IN
BALANCE AND BE IN TUNE WITH THEIR PEERS AND
THEIR LOVED ONES. Furthermore,
Entwistle also introduces five models of working; 4 THE
REQUIRED FIVE MODELS OF INTEGRATION
ARE:
a) Enemies
b) Spies
c) Colonialists
10. d) Neutral parties
7 E) ALLIES THE INVOLVED SIX MODELS ALWAYS
REPRESENT VARIOUS WAYS OF
CONCEPTUALIZING THE ENTIRE RELATIONSHIP
BETWEEN RELIGION AND PSYCHOLOGY
IN GENERAL, OR CHRISTIANITY AND PSYCHOLOGY IN
PARTICULAR. Methods have a way of
studying the environment, of shaping and finding accuracy.
While looking at the connection linking through
theology and psychology usually means the knowledge of the
sacred mind and behavior of a psychological aspect.
If I had a facility, I would approach my client with biblical
scripture in order to help the person to know Gods
work and love he has for them. There are ways to connect with
people using scriptures to coping in everyday
living. Psychology has the way of using the worldview system
for non-believers like medication to help a person
to cope with thoughts and emotion. Learning the Allies model
can be great to use in psychology and Christianity
while working in the field.
Strengths of The Allies Model of Integration

According to Entwistle, the major strength if the Allies model is
that it is the most adequate integrative solution
on the basis of a presumption that the truths of God are present
in both the word of God, i.e. the scripture and the
work of God, i.e. 6 THE CREATION (ENTWISTLE, 2015).
Another strength of the Allies model is that it acknowledges
various other methodologies of grasping an
understanding regarding human nature and the world. The
model also identifies the reality that
worldviews/religions make an immense influence on the way the
people think (Entwistle, 2015).
Also, the Allies Model takes a holistic approach to observe
human conduct and does not stick merely to Christian
lens while observing human conduct.
8 HOW YOUR MODEL VIEWS THE TWO BOOKS
CONCEPT;
After reading the allies model view concerning the two books
my thought was distinct, and I think that the
chapters must be viewed in knowledge and ability to modify the
methods; though, individually agreement on
12. people to compromising what should be forbidden because it
could conduct to reviewers to observe further
common assumptions.
Limitation of the Model
The first limitation of the Allies Model is that it refutes the
assertion of the Enemies model that theology and
psychology are mutually independent. This model connects
psychology and Christianity with each other. 9
THE CRITICS ARE AGAINST THIS IDEA BECAUSE THEY
THINK THAT THESE TWO ARE NOT
COMPATIBLE TO EACH OTHER (MYERS, JONES,
ROBERTS, WATSON, COE, HALL, &
POWLISON, 2010). Another major weakness of the model is
that it has faced troubles in integrating varying
Christian ideologies.
Conclusion
5 BASED ON THE CHAPTER THAT CONCLUDES THE
ENTWISTLE BOOK, IT REVEALS HIS
MODEL OF CHOICE AND ALSO WIDELY EXPLAINS IN
GREATER DEPTH WHY HE CHOSE IT.
He explains his whole preferences and their after introduces the
two books of God’s truth, to which they are God’s
word (scripture) and God’s Work (creation), which fatherly and
13. clearly explain his whole reasoning and also why
he come to choose the allies model. 4 IN MOST OF THE
CASES HE ALWAYS SEEMED TO TAKE A
FIRM BELIEF IN THAT IN THIS REAL LIFE, PEOPLE ARE
LIMITED IN THEIR ASSUMPTIONS
AND OPINIONS BUT WITH GOD’S WORD AND THE BOOK
OF HIS WORK, THEY WILL HELP
PEOPLE ALONG THE WAY.

Description: This paper is the capstone project of the course,
and it will describe your approach to the relationship between
psychology and Christianity. You will classify your approach
and note the strengths (3) and limitations (3) of your view as
well as reflect on different factors that led to your position.
Purpose: This course has presented several models of the
relationship between Christian faith and the discipline of
psychology. Your view of the relationship between psychology
and Christian faith will guide your practice of psychology, both
professionally and personally. This paper provides an explicit
avenue for you to articulate a coherent view of the relationship
between psychology and Christianity.
Details:
1. Papers will be graded on the quality of thinking, defense,
organization, clarity, and grammar…not on whether you agree
with the instructor’s position.
2. Begin with an introductory paragraph that describes the
importance of examining the relationship between psychology
and Christianity. The last sentence of the introduction must be
your thesis statement that guides the rest of your paper.
· Example: Upon consideration of the evidence from various
disciplines of study, it seems like the (model chosen) best
captures the relationship between psychological science and
Christian faith.
3. In writing about your position (you will need to classify your
approach), be sure to touch on the following (and remember to
cite Entwistle when you use his ideas):
· What methods of knowing are appropriate for Christians and
33. why (this will actually help you classify your approach);
· A thorough description of the model and how it views the
relationship between psychology and Christianity;
· How your model views the two books concept;
· Strengths of the model (at least three);
· Limitations of the model (at least three); be sure to include
critiques offered by those who hold other positions; and
· Remember to use transition statements as you move from one
main idea to the next.
4. End with a conclusion.
5. Avoid using 1st person.
· Instead of saying “I think Christians should embrace
psychology,” say “Christians should embrace psychology.”
· Instead of saying “My view corresponds with the Colonialist
position,” say “The Colonialist position seems ....”
6. The instructor will not proofread papers, but it is acceptable

Abstract According to my book, Entwistle speaks about how
different models shed understanding of God word helps humans
can become more stronger if they follow his works. Although I
found more information regarding theology which is the study
of God and his will and kingdom. Psychology is the study of the
human mind and it is designed to function in this world. Christ
is the way the truth and light, not some scientific method that is
going to heal our thoughts, emotions only the word of God can
soothe our soul with his word. After analyzing the ingratiation
approaches of Christianity and psychology. He clearly stated the
approaches as a subject is normally being avoided because the
existence of two methods that are involved cohesive slightly
containing different topics; 1 CHRISTIANITY AND
PSYCHOLOGY. While most remained being reserved or natural
about the entire matter others have question nor thought in
regards to the concerned subject.
Introduction
According to the literature Entwistle, openly depicts the two as
a fork that is in the road. This saying in most cases it is often
used as an epiphany to widely describe when an individual
wants to make a major life-changing decision and that the
outcome will sometime determine where the journey in life will
take a person. He goes further showing how an individual has
36. been great against one another because of the involved two
practices ever since the beginning of time frames. Thereafter he
goes beyond explaining to incorporate Blamires the alternative
rendition of the Tertulian’s point of view. “Blamires aids people
to see what they can learn from “sources while they are framing
their thinking with Christians all over the world and also apply
the knowledge with the concern of Christian. 4 BY LOOKING
AT THIS GREAT IDEA HE, THEREFORE, ENTERTAINS THE
POSSIBILITY OF PSYCHOLOGY AND THEOLOGY FOR IT
TO CO-EXISTENCE IN THE SAME AREA BECAUSE OF THE
NATURE OF BOTH TOPICS; ONE IS BASED ON THE
TRUTH AND THE OTHER IS SOLELY FOUNDED ON FAITH.
THE INTRODUCTION OF THE BOOK MAJORLY HAD
PROFANED THE FOUNDATION SO AS IT JOINS THE
COMMON ASPECTS OF THEOLOGY AND PSYCHOLOGY
TOO, "COMMIT TO CHRISTIANS ALL OVER THE WORLD
THAT SHAPES HOW PSYCHOLOGY IS BEING APPLIED
AND THEREAFTER STUDIED AND ALSO RECOGNIZES
THAT THERE ARE SPECIFIC CHRISTIAN RESOURCES
THAT UNIQUELY REVEALS CRUCIAL ASPECTS OF WHAT
IT MEANS TO BE HUMAN”. AS ENTWISTLE GOES ON
EXPLORING THE POSSIBILITY OF ADJOINING THE TWO
PRACTICES THAT HE DECIDES THAT ALL TRUTH IS
GOD’S TRUTH” (ENTWISTLE, 2015). THIS IS THE
CENTRAL IDEA TO THE POSITION OF THE ENTWISTLE
THAT PSYCHOLOGY AND CHRISTIANITY ARE TO BE
ALLIED WITH EQUAL SAY IN THE LEVEL OF TRUTH. As
he was exploring this content of truth, he pulls it out from the
historical life or worldwide perspective which affects how
people comprehend or interact and relate to their experience and
the world (Entwistle, 56). Of integrating science, faith and look
and the start of the foundational the beginning of both and also
how scholars of the time frame view either of the topics. 4
ENTWISTLE CLOSES THIS PARTICULAR CHAPTER WITH
ONE THOUGHT THAT HE STRONGLY BELIEVED IT
COULD BE THE FOUNDATION OF WHY AN INDIVIDUAL
37. SHOULD ALWAYS INCORPORATE EACH PRACTICE. 5
“THE INTERACTION OF THEOLOGY AND PSYCHOLOGY
IS CONSIDERED BEING VIRTUALLY INEVITABLE DUE TO
THEIR MUTUAL INTEREST IN UNDERSTANDING THE
MYSTERIES AND THE AMBIGUITY OF THE HUMAN
BEHAVIOR, AND ALSO HEALING HUMAN BROKENNESS”.
(Entwistle, 2015).
6 METHODS OF KNOWING
The methods of knowing are the techniques of gaining
understanding. There are mainly five methodologies of gaining
an understanding/knowledge. The first method of gaining
knowledge is called intuition (Price, Jhangiani, Chiang,
Leighton & Cuttler, n.d.). Intuition refers to emotions, instincts
or gut feelings that direct an individual. Instead of utilizing
rational thinking, intuition makes a person believe upon what
he/she feels to be true. The most usual technique of gaining an
understanding is an authority. It means that people approve
novel concepts because some of the authorities say that those
concepts are true. These authoritative figures involve the media,
parents, religious authorities, the government, priests, and
professors (Price et al., n.d.).
6 THE THIRD METHOD OF ACQUIRING AN
UNDERSTANDING IS RATIONALISM. Rationalism refers to
the utilization of reasoning and argumentation to gain new
understanding. This technique involves the employment of
described and logical principles to reach at strong inferences.
The fourth method is empiricism (Price et al., n.d.). This
technique involves grasping an understanding with the help of
investigation and encounter. The final technique of knowing is
scientific methodology. This method involves systematic
gathering and assessment of evidence to examine concepts and
respond to queries.
The methods of knowing that are best suited to Christianity are
authority and empiricism. Christians can attain an
understanding of their religion through authority characters.
These authority figures help the people reach at the inferences
38. that they are not able to understand on their own. To gain a
detailed understanding about biblical scriptures, it is important
for the Christians to seek for an assistance of an authority
figure. Another method of grasping knowledge that is
appropriate for Christians is empiricism. Empiricism makes the
people learn about different concepts through experience and
scrutiny. Christians are depending on empiricism to validate the
events; however, people are restricted in what they investigate
and encounter. For example, people developed the concept of
day and night because it was devised by the God. God named
the light as ‘day’ and darkness as ‘night.’ Christians can
validate their ideas through observation.
4 THE MODELS ENTWISTLE ALSO GIVES SOME IN-DEPTH
ANALYSIS OF THE WORLDVIEW AND HISTORY OF
VARIOUS BELIEF AND CULTURE SYSTEMS AND THEIR
NATURE ON HOW THEY COME TO BE. AS THE WHOLE
SOCIETY SLOWLY TRANSITIONED FROM THE MODERN
PERSPECTIVE TO POSTMODERN POINT OF VIEW,
EPISTEMOLOGY SET IN AND ALSO CAUSED A RIPPLE IN
THE LOGICAL EMPIRICISM AND REASONING OF THE
WORLD. Entwistle had quest to acquire virtue that he reminds
the reader that by saying that a person is restricted by being
vulnerable to mistakes and the most significant virtue is
possessing a characteristic of having a modest view of one’s
significance. 4 IF PEOPLE FAIL TO EXERCISE THE VALUE
OF HUMILITY, THEY RUN THE RISK OF BEING QUITE
SURE OF THEMSELVES WHICH IS QUITE WRONG. WHEN
THIS IS SAID, HE GOES ON PROVIDING INSIGHTS THAT
HE CLEARLY KNOWS THAT AS A HUMAN RACE PEOPLE
CANNOT DO IT ON THEIR OWN AND THEREFORE,
“INDIVIDUAL MIGHT WANT TO THINK OF CHRISTIAN
PSYCHOLOGY AND THEOLOGY AS INSTRUMENTS IN AN
ORCHESTRA”. (P 131) PEOPLE CAN USE WHAT THEY
NEED SO AS THEY REMAIN IN BALANCE AND BE IN
TUNE WITH THEIR PEERS AND THEIR LOVED ONES.
Furthermore, Entwistle also introduces five models of working;
39. 4 THE REQUIRED FIVE MODELS OF INTEGRATION ARE:
a) Enemies
b) Spies
c) Colonialists
d) Neutral parties
7 E) ALLIES THE INVOLVED SIX MODELS ALWAYS
REPRESENT VARIOUS WAYS OF CONCEPTUALIZING THE
ENTIRE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN RELIGION AND
PSYCHOLOGY IN GENERAL, OR CHRISTIANITY AND
PSYCHOLOGY IN PARTICULAR. Methods have a way of
studying the environment, of shaping and finding accuracy.
While looking at the connection linking through theology and
psychology usually means the knowledge of the sacred mind
and behavior of a psychological aspect. If I had a facility, I
would approach my client with biblical scripture in order to
help the person to know Gods work and love he has for them.
There are ways to connect with people using scriptures to
coping in everyday living. Psychology has the way of using the
worldview system for non-believers like medication to help a
person to cope with thoughts and emotion. Learning the Allies
model can be great to use in psychology and Christianity while
working in the field.
Strengths of The Allies Model of Integration
According to Entwistle, the major strength if the Allies model is
that it is the most adequate integrative solution on the basis of a
presumption that the truths of God are present in both the word
of God, i.e. the scripture and the work of God, i.e. 6 THE
CREATION (ENTWISTLE, 2015).
Another strength of the Allies model is that it acknowledges
various other methodologies of grasping an understanding
regarding human nature and the world. The model also
identifies the reality that worldviews/religions make an
immense influence on the way the people think (Entwistle,
2015).
Also, the Allies Model takes a holistic approach to observe
human conduct and does not stick merely to Christian lens while
40. observing human conduct.
8 HOW YOUR MODEL VIEWS THE TWO BOOKS CONCEPT;
After reading the allies model view concerning the two books
my thought was distinct, and I think that the chapters must be
viewed in knowledge and ability to modify the methods; though,
individually agreement on people to compromising what should
be forbidden because it could conduct to reviewers to observe
further common assumptions.
Limitation of the Model
The first limitation of the Allies Model is that it refutes the
assertion of the Enemies model that theology and psychology
are mutually independent. This model connects psychology and
Christianity with each other. 9 THE CRITICS ARE AGAINST
THIS IDEA BECAUSE THEY THINK THAT THESE TWO
ARE NOT COMPATIBLE TO EACH OTHER (MYERS, JONES,
ROBERTS, WATSON, COE, HALL, & POWLISON, 2010).
Another major weakness of the model is that it has faced
troubles in integrating varying Christian ideologies.
Conclusion
5 BASED ON THE CHAPTER THAT CONCLUDES THE
ENTWISTLE BOOK, IT REVEALS HIS MODEL OF CHOICE
AND ALSO WIDELY EXPLAINS IN GREATER DEPTH WHY
HE CHOSE IT. He explains his whole preferences and their
after introduces the two books of God’s truth, to which they are
God’s word (scripture) and God’s Work (creation), which
fatherly and clearly explain his whole reasoning and also why
he come to choose the allies model. 4 IN MOST OF THE
CASES HE ALWAYS SEEMED TO TAKE A FIRM BELIEF IN
THAT IN THIS REAL LIFE, PEOPLE ARE LIMITED IN
THEIR ASSUMPTIONS AND OPINIONS BUT WITH GOD’S
WORD AND THE BOOK OF HIS WORK, THEY WILL HELP
PEOPLE ALONG THE WAY.
