FORM
The envelope is 12.5" x 9.5," the standard size for letter-size documents. It is made from a
highly optimized coated recycled paperboard that is widely used for shipping envelopes. It
allows high-quality printing and custom treatments like our 360 embossing.
FUNCTION
The closure flap is a unique design that allows the envelope to be used for two shipments. Our
goal is to reduce the number of envelopes, and thus, raw materials, needed for a given number
of shipments.
A clear polyvinyl slotted pouch on the back holds the shipping label. The label can be printed
on any conventional printer.
DESIGN
The base design of the envelope front is a bright radiant blue background with a format-filling
white arrow, the name, and type. It is easily identified across a room. The back is white with a
logo and instructions. The closure flap is a split color design that facilitates the dual use of the
envelope.
The envelope has a strong visual presence, and is an expression of the new shipping
experience we are creating for our customers. It invites conversation, stirs curiosity, and relays
instant recognition for its contents.
