2. Some equations have variables on both sides.
To solve such equations, you will first collect
the variable terms on the side with the greater
variable coefficient.
However, many students will find they like to
still bring the variables over to the left-hand
side of the equation.
3. To get a “term” moved from one side to the
other, you will use the add/subt
transformation. You move a variable term the
same way you move a constant term – by
adding the opposite.
